Not typically my kind of film and to be honest what got me to watch it 6 years later after it came out was the fact that I saw an interview from Tarantino where he praised it. And Im glad I did.

All 3 (Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron & Nicholas Hoult) in leading roles did a great job here, but Nicholas Hoult was just different class here in my opinion, just a fantastic performance from him. Tom did what he usually does, played bad ass lonewolf action hero, well. Charlize nailed her role as well and I was surprised by the authenticity of her performance as a bad ass action chick.

The stunts in this movie where amazing, top notch, they were so well made it made the moving thoroughly enjoyable all the way, even tho Im NOT about action like that.

Just a full 2 hour blast of solid action, amazing stunts, spiced up with great acting performances. The production crew and actors knocked it out of the park here, that sums it up. Highly recommend, especially if you are an action fanatic.

Good acting by the whole cast and this really seems like a typical finnish weekend at the summer cottage with old friends after not seeing each other long time. Adults who havent grown up, relationship drama, new partners, ex partners, huge life events all in the same mix with a bunch of booze.

Raw, Authentic, A hit!

I was immediately really into the film from the get go. The movie grabbed me in itself very quickly with absolutely masterful performances by Leo and Jennifer. At the beginning of the film I had really no idea what to expect, I didnt read what the movie is about I just let it surprise me, I had very much trust in the movie due to the cast and believe me it DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME. As I said, from the get go I was sucked in by great acting from our 2 main stars Leo and Jen, like I couldn't wait what the film has to offer, then Meryl Streep came in with Jonah hill portraying these obnoxious conservative politicians which revealed to me the satire aspect of the movie (Great acting by those 2 as well btw) which I very much enjoyed, a thoroughly absurd depiction of the way of the world that hits close to home, so close that you can see the biased commentary here by a lot of people who are too scared to look in the mirror.

The absurdity of the film is still within limits of good taste, in my opinion the society is so absurd in 2021 if I really think about it this is what makes it not stupidly absurd, like I said, its close to home.

The movie greatly mocked politics, social media behaviour, celebrities, the fakeness of TV hosts. It makes you laugh, but also really much opens your eyes to look at whats really happening in the world right now and how we are straying away from reality more and more day by day, soon possibly like in the film, we are completely out of touch with reality. The humorous touch makes you get trough the film without it being too much of a rough watch, but when it was finished, it really, I mean really, makes you think.

Cinema wise this was also a great flick, good casting, good performances by the whole cast highlighting Leo and Jen too much is impossible. Music in the film was on point troughout the film adding a lot to the feel of the film.
