This is an action/crime/noir drama revolving around a drug cartel and the undercover agents assigned to infiltrate that organization. It's fast paced with well thought out character developments/back stories. I went into watching this series with minimal information and I am glad I did. There are layers upon layers of mystery that once peeled back, nothing is what it seems. Granted, some details and points do not make sense; overall though, it is pretty amazing for k-drama. The main character of "Doctor's Son" is ambitious and calculating. Just get used to him waltzing in to get it done. Pretty cool. Just remember to watch through the end credit in the final episode for an additional teaser. What does it mean?!? >**<

My eyes are still swollen from crying during the last thirty minutes of the film. The lighting was great, I enjoyed the performances and it makes you wonder about the beauty of it all. I will keep my eye on this director and I will look for his previous and future films.

This is one of the best Japanese drama television series. I have seen this 12-episode drama show at least three times and I just cannot get enough. Highly recommended for those who love suspenseful shows that you cannot figure out the ending. By the by, it does not hurt that Takenouchi Yutaka is cute as a button.
