When I was in college, my friends and I went to the local movie theater to see the John Lennon film. I remember one of my mates saying, "There he is!" Lennon looked grungy, with glasses. He has virtually no dialogue or much participation in the film. Apparently it is considered an anti-war film, but it is so directionless and obtuse we never get a feeling for anything. The main character, Ernest Goodbody, played by Michael Crawford, is an inept officer who actually is the cause of several casualties. We then have the tired use of the ghosts of the men who dies remaining, marching along. I believe the Twilight Zone employed a similar device, but in a much more effective way.

Lennon's appearance is not even worth time you must put in to see it.

Start with Abby and Luka. Abby has hit rock bottom with her alcoholism and the is only one way to deal with that. She slept with the boss--big guilt. Finally Luka comes home. They will have time alone. But Luka brings his brother and now there is no intimacy. He is clueless about how to treat her. Of course, he has not idea she is off the wagon.

There is a drawn out case of the son of a paraplegic man who falls off a ladder and almost loses his life. Abby is incompetent at this stage.

Gates gets a call from the girl who has been sexually assaulted. He takes her back to her grandparents where she is so unhappy. Grandma agrees to let her go. But how is Gates going to give her what she needs?
