The storyline was totally unbelievable.
For instance: How come Miles shows up at Pete and Maddies door? How does he know their address, especiailly regarding the sensitive nature of the matter at hand? I know that the UK (foolishy) left the EU, but they don't have something like GDPR any more?
This series would have been much better if it would just contain the landscape shots and leave out the story altogether. Perhaps an interesting idea for The Making Of Playing Nice? ;-)
Lucy and Pete did a much better acting job in Downton Abbey and Happy Valley respectively.
Scenario: 1 star Acting: 3 stars Scenery/landscape shots: 8 stars.

The Harlan Coben mini-series share a few common characteristics, such as protagonists performing unlikely or downright stupid actions, leads that are not followed up, over-acting etc.
In addition the series have a dream-like quality. It's just like everything is unreal. All cars are super clean and shiny, even after driving through the mud. Hair and clothing impeccable.
With regards to Michael C Hall's British accent: as you may have guessed by now, I am not a native English speaker. His accent did not really bother me, although it would add to the credibility of the series if they simply made Tom Delaney an American doctor who moved to the UK.
