I had the misfortune of watching this bastardized version of "The Weakest Link" when I was recently in America. The reason the British version of "The Weakest Link" works so well, is because Anne Robinson is W-I-T-T-Y and she uses that wit to actually make funny, albeit caustic comments. That's something, perhaps, the Americans do not understand, seeing as they've replaced her acerbic comments with such amusing and intelligent remarks as:
"Who is the mould in your Chinese take-out?"
Yes. How hilarious...
Someone stab me.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. However, when I first saw it, I was left feeling somewhat disappointed - there was a lot of potential, but some of it was never reached. I then saw it for a second time, and I realised that my expectations were simple too high. I enjoyed it much more. With solid directing from Jim Isaac, a (for the most part) good script by Todd Farmer and good acting (with the exception of Chuck Campbell as Tsunaron who p***ed me off straight away). The deaths are inventive, and surprisingly not too gory (bare in mind I saw the Internation Uncut version). However, I believe this film would have been a lot less enjoyable if it had not been for the characters of Janessa (Melyssa Ade) and Fat Lou (Boyd Banks).
All in all, this was a good film, and I can't wait for an extras packed DVD.

I have been a fan of the Gabriel Knight series for about 3 years. I discovered Gabriel Knight II, bought it and was addicted to the series from then on.
I eagerly bought the third title from the series and from the moment the beautifully rendered first shot was seen by my eyes, I was completely hooked.
Tim Curry was, as always, flawless as Gabriel Knight. The script was funny and dramatic whilst the graphics and sound were superb. The music was absolutely fantastic and it captured the mood of the game.
All in all, Gabriel Knight III: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned is one of the best games I've ever played. It left me wanting more and hopefully, there will be...
