The classic J. M. Barrie story of Peter Pan is brought to a stage production at Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1986. The stage version of the story is done better here than other productions. The cameras are better here where you can catch a glimpse of their faces. You can get the full production here. The cast did an excellent job in bringing the story to life. You have to remember 1980s technology too.
I would watch it again with the Moliere's script in hand to have a better sense of understanding about the play onstage and onscreen. It's very difficult as the quality and technology weren't equipped in the early nineties. You can't see their faces. You can hear their voices. The actors speak very well and precisely. The set design is minimal though. The costume design is first rate. This company does first rate productions. I would watch next time with the script in one hand.
