Extremely superficial and pointless. Too much hype around a silly movie! I had too much expectations for it I guess.
Yes, it's a very well made film, descent acting and directing as well but at the end of the film I was like, so what?
Too slow, mostly boring all over except for the final act. You must wait almost two hours to see some tension. And it's definitely not worth the IMAX theater. You could also watch it in your small tv screen. No difference at all.
Barbarian, with all its flaws was way better experience.
If you ask me I'd say don't bother!

One of the worst finales in the history of television. Maybe the worst!
Too slow, so annoying, ridiculously unbelievable storyline, not a bit of excitement, fake drama, very bad script, too short and the way it ended, it absolutely leaves no room for any enthusiasm towards the next season. Ellie and the rest of the group keep making the most stupid decisions to get themselves killed!
I think we as audience got to the point we no longer care what will happen to the characters. At least I don't!
Not sure when the next season will air but I believe they've lost many of their audience already. A total disappointment!

A visually stunning but very stupid remake. Nowadays filmmakers go to extreme measures to do anything to be different, no matter how bad that difference is.
Poorly written, unbelievably bad actings from all casts, even Willem Dafoe. I think it's his worst performance ever. Lilly Rose Depp couldn't be more irritating. As if they were all dragged to the set and were forced to act.
However, the only great part about this emotionless adaptation is the cinematography. It's truly mesmerizing, and the only thing that keeps you going till the end. Some people left the auditorium almost in the middle of the film.
Still, Coppola's 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' is the best Dracula adaptation to me. I watched it tens of times and still can't get enough of it. Actually, I need to watch it again tonight to digest this mess!
These modern horror film makers are really overrated.
