I wonder why this movie was called scary movie? Anyway... I have a statement to make. I thought the movie was funny, but the only reason why it was is because it had to use other movies for its humor. This is my opinion. Anyone who knows all about sex, and sex toys, and all about erectums is mature enough to see scary movie. The thing is most kids between 11-13 don't and claim they do. They think they bad because they know what it is when i a guy is sticking a women. The point of the matter is, 11-13 year olds are not sexually mature for the things they know about. Most kids went to see Scary movie cause they knew it would be funny. They didn't know that they were not physically and sexually mature for this movie. I would say u should be gone threw puberty before u see this movie, and millions of scary movies profit has been through kids who haven't.

Mel Gibson is an okay actor. I like a few movies he's in, but not much. The previews made mel Gibson or "Benjamin Martin" out to be a hero. I didn't like that. He wasn't a hero, and he didn't even want to fight. I mean he was an above average soldier, and the movie didn't show enough rage. It showed emotion when someone got killed or murdered, but it didn't show true rage. I know a lot of people disagree on me in this, but i am right. The previews set you uup for a better movie then it really was. Gladiator was better. More rage in Gladiator. Now i am not saying that The Patriot was a bad movie, because it wasn't. I think they could get someone else besides Mel Gibson for the part though. I see Nicolas cage as a "Benjamin Martin." I see even a John Travolta playing "Benjamin Martin." Why? because Nicolas Cage and John Travolta are the best actors on showing anger. Think about it. Especially Cage. And a lot Travolta. The point is i am giving this movie *** stars. It didn't deserve 4. I think this movie can be seen by anyone, even with gorry scenes. Its not like they will cry if someone gets their face blown off!

I heard terrible things that people said about this movie. i am so excited for blue streak 2. it has the potential to be better than the first. But anyway, how could anyone not like this movie. people say this movie is not funny. Well, i partially agree with you. The reason is, THIS MOVIE DID NOT TRY TO BE A HILARIOUS COMEDY!!!!!! Of course it tried to be funny here and there, but this story meant to be an adventurous movie. It had a strong plot. Lawrence is great. Just looking at him makes him more funny, and it also makes it look like all this crap that he usually go's through is really happening to him. For all you people who thought this movie sucked, then you are totally screwed up.
