There's nothing I like more than excellent story-telling and Serenity is just that! We went to see it again, and it was better the second time. I dream of a return to TV of the Firefly series. Keep up the good work, Joss Whedon, and don't let the short-sighted 'Hollyweird' world discourage you.
We search the world of entertainment for quality work. We very seldom find anything that attracts us. We dislike most reality shows, don't watch night-time soaps, and can't stomach another internal investigation of a corpse in detail...yuck! The never ending spew of low end offerings doesn't say much good about our culture. But hidden in the midst of such tripe...Firefly and Serenity twinkle like diamonds. Characters with souls and problems, adventure, imagination, plot lines with direction, and the weave of details. Everyone who worked to make it all flow together from the great writing down to the smallest stage trim contributed to a work of story-telling much appreciated out here in the dark.
If you can't get your world back up on the small screen, keep making movies, and if that doesn't work...write us books. I'd love to see where your ideas and characters would go in the future.
A Family of Fans... Nanette, Ken, Heather and McKenzie.

We just finished watching all of the first season episodes in a two-day marathon of 'Carnivaling.' All this watching done in wonderful anticipation of Sundays new episode. We love this kind of story telling - convoluted, curious, brain-worthy and fun. The characters are mysterious, interesting, and yet familiar at the same time. We have found fellow Carnivale followers in unexpected places. You never know who might be an admirer.
There can't be enough of this style of entertainment on TV. Don't let anyone say consumers don't appreciate storytelling with panache. Thanks to Daniel Knauf and everyone involved. Continue the GREAT work! Just a note from some of your devoted 'audience' in Albany, NY. We couldn't be the RUBES could we? Naw......LOL!

Of course, I picked it up because Sean Bean is in it, but I really enjoyed this movie (believe it was a TV mini-series). You have to pay close attention to follow all the twists and turns, but it pays off. I appreciate movies which require a brain while watching. Too much entertainment appeals to the mindless, blow 'em up and slop in some soap opera lines. But here the story moved along steadily, kept me on the edge of my seat a few times...and held my interest the whole time. I watched it a couple times to catch more details. I especially like movies that give up more 'ahhh' bits each time you watch them. No dropped bits, characters who disappear or dangling 'what's that about?' parts. I'll be adding this one to my own library. Sean Bean eye candy and good story telling! Every character was well casted and acted. The best kinda movie - when you can find them! Nanette
