With my fear of heights, I had severe doubts about watching this film..
Still, what could be nicer as a birthday treat for a teenage girl then spending a weekend with Dad - in a cave in the mountains hiding from a gang of armed thugs?
The cave was obviously a bit of a downer for a teenager with a mobile phone, so she climbs on top of a rocky outcrop for a signal so that she can send a video of the thugs to her friend, and is obviously spotted by the thugs. A somewhat dumbfounded parent is left to ask, "You gotta signal?? Why didn't you call the police??) I stopped watching at this point (the end of Episode1), thinking that if I want to escape I should probably ditch the kid.
At least, the expert, dangerous climbing at the start didn't make me dizzy or sick - the best part for me.

This is mind-numbingly boring television even for a daytime public holiday week. Checking the date of broadcast I saw this was first broadcast in 2015. Why would anyone unearth this 10 years later? Of course, the contests are fairly hopeless at answering questions and moderately hopeless at bowling a ball along.
I did get a bit excited when the host said, "one more question, Dominic, and we will release your ball", but that was it. It vaguely reminded me of a pitch I did for a quiz show 20 years ago, perhaps I should have includes some bowling in it, rather than the different lanes (for traffic in my quiz).

I have a hazy-to-good memory of watching this film with my parents when it was first released. As a totally cynical 12-year old I was amazed to find myself on the way out whistling and singing all the songs.
