WOW!!!! Wot a great game. Zelda 64 is a landmark in gaming. It has stunning visuals, a great orchestral soundtrack, immense involvement and more importantly brilliant fun. An expierience not a game. All those Final Fantasy 7 and 8 lovers start crying now because Zelda Gaiden is on its way!!!!!!!!
Looking back now, I am glad that I knew very little about The Sixth Sense. Just enough information about the film was given out in the trailer to convince me to see it. I knew there was a plot twist towards the end, and when you find out that.... Nope, you can find out for yourself. I was completely and utterly amazed as the twist unravelled before my eyes. It was the last thing I had expected. I had contemplated a few endings, what if they.... or I bet that they..... I couldn't have been more wrong!!! I feel I have been extremely unfair when voting for this movie as I only gave it a 9, but it may increase after my second viewing. And third, fourth.....
Having just watched Face/Off and Broken Arrow back to back, I have come to the conclusion that John Woo's directing is steadily increasing to a very high standard. Unfortunately I feel that is was the script and character depth, or lack of character depth that, ultimately, is Broken Arrow's downfall. Admittedly there is the odd scene where I contradict myself about it, and Travolta is convincing as "the Baddie" but its not enough. I feel the whole story lacks real depth and other than Travolta's acting and Woo's directing, the film is rather mediocre.
