I own Sin City in its original comic book form. All the episodes. And I can't believe how something that nice can be destroyed so thoroughly.
Not only doesn't the comic form fit the movie screen but the sets and actors used are horrible. The CGI is dull and lifeless. Where Miller could draw a stark scene in a few outlines Rodrigues copies it perfectly to the big screen with the result of making it totally unlike the original. It is not possible to copy the aesthetics of still images to motion pictures. The two formats rely on too different premises.
And the actors chosen to fill Millers comic book outlines have managed to do just that - outline the characters without ever making them credible. The acting, with a notable exception of Mickey O'Rourke as Marv, is as dull and lifeless as if showing static comic images on the screen.
Ad to this the fact that Rodrigues has somehow managed to turn the strong women in Millers fiction into cringing damsels in distress and you've got an unappealing paste of bad clichés in a humanity- and female-hating form.

I can't actually claim to have seen this movie as I was unable to force myself to finish watching. The movie was bad, the acting was worse, and the intelligence content the worst. Three Kings' story is a ripoff from Kelly Heroes, it's premises from Full Metal Jacket and it's characters from Disneys Donald Duck.
What can one say about troops who watch a cow get blown by a mine three yards in front of them and calmly proceed to walk around the crater? How about a soldier shooting a surrendering enemy, in full view of his commanding officers, comrades and journalists? Can anyone say 'Court Martial'? Apparently Mr. Russell can't.
Not only is the behavior of the characters that's a flaw. The totally lack of knowledge of military matters exhibited by the cast and crew is disturbing to say the least. The only thing more disturbing is the fact that a lot of people not only accept this glorified BS but also consider it to be one of the greatest war movies of all times. 3/10

I've watched all the Beverly Hills Cop movies, even the last and IMHO worst one. I even liked them. But I can't like Blue Streak.
The plot is one long cliche built to allow Martin Lawrence to do what he does best, which is wave his arms and go 'Damn'. Five minutes of this is ok, but watching Blue Streak is like being forced to watch three consecutive episodes of Lawrence's equally annoying and pointless sitcom but with some gratuitous (albeit PG-13 rated) violence. I guess we're supposed to laugh at police beating arrestees as long as there is no blood involved.
The intro is all right, reminiscent of Hudson Hawk, but already after three minutes you've got the entire movie set out and you know how it's going to end. And it hasn't got any of Hudson Hawk's dry wit or humor.
The characters are unbelievable, unfriendly and unsympathic. After a short while you start to wish that they'd all get into a major gun battle and die, especially Lawrences hyper active and overplayed (and decidedly not funny) con-turned-fake-cop. The only person who was even remotely likable was the official 'Bad Guy' and that only because he was somewhat 'normal'.
Stay away from this movie. Do not watch it even if you get free popcorn with it. 3/10
