Last year, Charles Band’s company Full Moon announced that they were launching a new production label called Pulp Noir, which would focus on “edgier, weirder, darker horror and dark fantasy films.” Two Pulp Noir movies, Quadrant and Death Streamer, have since made their way through production – and while those movies were initially released in color, all of the Pulp Noir movies will also get black & white “noir” releases, so there are both color and black & white versions of Quadrant and Death Streamer available on the Full Moon Features streaming service. While we wait for more Pulp Noir movies to be made, Band has started going through the Full Moon library to give some of their older films the black & white / noir treatment. This noir series, which is expected to consist of at least a dozen films, got started with a black & white version of the 1984 sci-fi thriller Christmas classic Trancers.

Invader Blu-ray from Terror Vision

Terror Vision has launched pre-orders for Invader on deluxe edition Blu-ray for $32. Limited to 1,000, it’s expected to ship in early July.

Written and directed by Mickey Keating, the home invasion horror film stars Vero Maynez, Colin Huerta, Ruby Vallejo, and Joe Swanberg.

Special features include: interviews with Keating and Swanberg; Q&a with Keating and Swanberg; behind-the-scenes featurette; scrapbook booklet; 11×17 poster; and soundtrack CD.

Sinners Shirt from Pentagram Peter Pan

Pentagram Peter Pan has released Sinners two-sided design on T-shirts for $29.99 and long sleeves for $35.99.

Other apparel from Ryan Coogler’s hit film is also available until Monday, May 12, at 11am Et. They’ll ship in 5-8 weeks.

Full Moon Empire founder Charles Band is at the market with an extensive slate of genre titles led by American Film Market (Afm) debuts Killjoy’s Psycho Circus and Puppetmaster: Axis Termination.

Killjoy’s Psycho Circus screens at the market today [Saturday] and marks the latest in the horror franchise starring Trent Haaga as the vengeful demon and killer clown who has arrived on Earth and become complacent.

When Beelzebub comes after him, Killjoy must reunite his crew and prepare for the mother of all battles. Victoria DeMare and Robert Sydney also star.

Puppetmaster: Axis Termination recently wrapped production and is due for delivery in January. The latest episode in the long-running fantasy series stars Paul Logan, Tonia Kay and Tania Fox.

Rounding out the slate are horrors Ravenwolf Towers in post and completed project Trophy Heads.

The first week of July sees a ton of genre titles headed home on DVD and Blu-ray including a handful of cult classics including Stuart Gordon’s Robot Jox, The Crimson Cult which co-stars Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee, Luigi Cozzi’s Contamination, a pair of 1974 shockers- Deranged and Spasmo- as well as The Killers, which is based on Ernest Hemingway’s chilling tale of the same name and gave the film noir subgenre a boost back in the 1940’s.

For those of you looking for something a little more current, you’ve got Alien Outpost, The Pact 2, Trophy Heads and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s recent zombie film, Maggie, to look forward to as well. As if that wasn’t enough, we also have last year’s Town that Dreaded Sundown remake is also arriving on both DVD and Blu-ray, with the latter being available exclusively at Best Buy on July 7th.

After the success of their recent web series Trophy Heads, Full Moon Entertainment has decided to fire up another... and this time they're resurrecting one of their most beloved characters to do so. Be prepared for Killjoy's Psycho Circus.

Bringing back the director of the past two Killjoy films, John Lechago, as well as stars Trent Haaga and Victoria DeMare, and adding on Al Burke and Tai Chan Ngo, Killjoy's Psycho Circus promises to be more of the crazy insanity that made audiences fall in love with the clown and his merry troop in the past.

As with Trophy Heads, Killjoy's Psycho Circus will be released in several segments to allow Charles Band and the rest of the Full Moon production team a chance to present the film in a cliffhanger-type series. Then, after the initial web series has run its course, the film will eventually be released in its entirety.

Phil Condit of Sick Puppy Pictures and Maria Olsen of MOnsterworks66 have teamed up to bring the world Happy Ending: an epic tale of sword-and-shotgun wielding hookers, hunky heroes and attacking aliens.

Set in a remote desert bordello, Happy Ending tells the tale of Madam Wang, played by Ange Maya, who stars in Phil’s soon-to-be-released Empress Vampire, and her band of lovely lasses who, with the help of their Johns, have to team up to stop a voracious being-from-beyond-the-stars from taking over the world!

Happy Ending is about hookers and aliens...who could want anything more!

Also starring Jill Evyn, Dawna Lee Heising, Brad Slaughter, Dolores Quintana, Brad Potts, Victoria de Mare, Erik A. Williams, Phedra Syndelle and Olsen herself, there is no doubt that Happy Ending will leave everyone smiling!
