"Qué huevos Sofía" is the new film by Carlos Santos, a director who has proven that his films are not simple comedies, always getting involved in the script, Santos gives his characters backgrounds of murky pasts that they must overcome in the present and achieve a better future. The cast gives performances that hit the mark, Giovanna Romo is wonderful as Sofía and gives different emotional nuances to her character, meanwhile Liliana Arriaga gives a fun character and also demonstrates her great acting qualities for drama when it is required, Sergio Mayer is fabulous as the arrogant villain, in addition to an emotional and bold performance by Yanet García, meanwhile, YouTuber Ricardo Peralta and writer and influencer Priscila Arias demonstrate they have acting and comedic qualities. Carlos Santos' direction is powerful, managing to balance comedy and drama in a masterful way. "Qué huevos Sofía" is a great film that moves away from comedy clichés and tells a story with good elements of comedy and drama that fit perfectly.
