Io e te dobbiamo parlare aims to bring together the comedic talents of Alessandro Siani and Leonardo Pieraccioni, but the result feels more like a collection of loosely connected gags than a cohesive film. Directed by Siani, who also co-wrote the screenplay, the film struggles to find its footing, leaning heavily on familiar tropes and predictable humor.

While the pairing of Siani and Pieraccioni has undeniable potential, their chemistry is undermined by a script that lacks depth and focus. Francesca Chillemi adds some charm in a supporting role, but her presence isn't enough to elevate the material. The film attempts to juggle situational comedy and heartfelt moments, yet neither lands convincingly.

Visually, the direction is serviceable but uninspired, relying on basic setups that fail to enhance the comedic timing. The pacing is uneven, with scenes that drag and others that seem abruptly cut, further highlighting the lack of narrative cohesion.

This is a film for die-hard fans of its leads who may enjoy their individual charisma, but even they might feel let down by the lack of originality and effort. Io e te dobbiamo parlare could have been a refreshing addition to the landscape of Italian comedy, but instead, it serves as a reminder of the need for more thoughtful storytelling in the genre.

Nice to watch but some jokes were not funny the characters were not perfectly cared for but still they were funny, lack of realism in many scenes but oh well it's a comedy film, and the participation of some actors could have been increased so as to create a better narrative. Instead speaking of the plot it is very nice but they could have made the villain more charismatic and make him last longer but above all make him more difficult to discover, I personally had understood who he was in the first 30 minutes of the film consequently it makes the discovery of the villain less exciting. Speaking of the two protagonists I liked them and they should make more films together.
