This is a movie you shouldn't miss! The story and characters are really interesting, and the conflict feels fresh. Everything happens in a natural and realistic way, making it easy to connect with. There are a few moments where things might feel a bit exaggerated, but they don't take away from the experience.
Shivaji is amazing in his role, and Priyadarshi, Sai Kumar, Harshavardhan, and Rohini also did a great job. The teenage actors are fantastic too!
The production quality is just right, with beautiful cinematography and great music. The direction is spot on.
Overall, it's a must-watch, especially for youngsters, parents, cops, and lawyers!

The movie is one of the most accurate courtroom drama made in India, there have been some dramatization of the incidence, but overall it is very much accurate of how things are in a courtroom.
My source? I am a lawyer myself 😜.
The movie is a very good depiction of how the POSCO act is misused and actually how the criminal acts are misused and how impactful is is to not be properly represented.
Overall it is a very nice photo drama which you can watch this weekend or any weekend. It doesn't have a very good dialogue or cinematography but but will be known for its accurate depiction of court rooms.
Overall it's a nice movie. But just because I am a lawyer myself and I keep looking for accurate depiction of room dramas so I am a little partial in rating this movie high.
My steal: finding questions instead of answers.

Court movie is a perfect example of realism movie in India. We haven't seen a lot of movies in India based on courtroom drama, but in this movie, we can see the realism court. I had been recommended this movie by My Telugu friend and genuinely I like this movie so much because of its ground to truth. This movie has everything of the realism. No unnecessary action or drama like we see so many movies in India had so many drama in the movie, but there is no compulsory to be an action because in reality, everyone is same to court. I like the movie and I highly recommend this movie to everyone. The actors acting was so real and looks so good.

Best movie by wall poster cinemas and insightful. Actors had done an excellent performance and very realistic and thanks to Nani sir for producing this thought provoking movie and expecting more movies. The emotions feel authentic, and the characters are portrayed in a way that makes them deeply relatable
Young people need to see films like this because they offer critical life lessons. The movie encourages discussions on social justice, peer pressure, and standing up for what's right, making it a must-watch for teenagers growing up in today's world.
It's emotional, thought-provoking, and incredibly relevant. If you're looking for a film that blends realism with a meaningful message, this is it. A must-watch for all generations.

Just finished 'Court - State vs Nobody'. It's simply worth watching! The first hour is intense, with Mangapathi (played by Sivaji) keeping you on the edge of your seat 😤. The court scenes in the second half are good 👌. Performance-wise, Sivaji steals the show, while the supporting actors deliver solid performances. The music by Vijay Bulganin perfectly complements the scenes 👌. The cinematography is also commendable 👍. Kudos to the writing team for their outstanding work!"
Storyline :: A passionate defense attorney fights against prejudice and corruption in the justice system while representing a teenage client wrongly presumed guilty of a serious crime.

It's an absolute cinema.. I didn't expect this film from a debut director... The story was too good... And the main pillars of the movie were the lead's acting performance... The music was also good.. Watch the film with family.... perfect court movie... 🎥🍿...... Although some scenes we can expect the story.... But the story narrates the loop holes of law and the teenage love story... Good Performance by Darshe sir and Shivaji sir and the main leads Roshan and Sridevi also deliver good performance ...Music is also highlighted the film.. and other important characters also delivered their roles very good... I have watched this film with my friends. We all love it...

Best movie I watched after so many years🤗🤗
Hero acting is tooo good. The story is sooo heart touching.😥😢.the twists in the court trial were very intresting. Complete best movie to watch with family. From the starting till end the movie is very intresting each and every scene was good...family relations, friendship, everything which is needed ,society ,was very realistic. Each and every character is good.
Assistant lawyer character was also characterized very well. Finally I feel society needs this type of movies which gives lot of eyeopening messages .The ending was also very nice. I enjoyed the movie a lot.

A courtroom drama that takes its sweet time getting to court. The first half is meandering, full of small-town mundanity and bureaucratic inertia, and at times feels like it's building toward a different film altogether. You'll wonder if you've walked into a gentle small town teenage romance rather than a legal thriller.
But once the second half begins, the film finally steps into its true identity, and it's worth the wait. The courtroom proceedings, while low on theatrics, are packed with quiet tension and sharp writing. It's less 12 Angry Men and more Article 15 meets Court (2014), with added Telugu regional flavour.
The performances hold it all together. The lead actor, playing the bewildered "nobody" dragged into a system too vast to grasp, gives a performance that's subdued, honest, and vulnerable without tipping into melodrama. The prosecutor is a real standout: poised, precise, and unnervingly composed. His calm ruthlessness adds a layer of gravitas the film badly needed early on.
Direction by debutant or near-debutant hands (it feels that way) is confident in some moments, tentative in others. Scenes linger a little too long in the first half, but the second-half staging, especially inside the courtroom, is tight, well-composed, and tonally spot-on.
Verdict: Court State vs A Nobody is not for the impatient. But if you can sit through the procedural preamble, the payoff is a sharply acted, well-judged courtroom drama with real weight.
7.5/10.

The villain in this flick really steals the show and creates the agency. Our hero, the lawyer on the other hand reciprocates as well as he can however it is overshadowed by the love story that occurs in the backdrop. As far as the court scenes go there is far too much time being spent on basic concepts like "circumstantial evidence" being explained to us by practical means when what we the audience really crave is watching the lawyer investigate and peice together the corruption of the legal system he has vowed to uphold. Sivaji our villain on the other hand does brilliantly in letting is very deep insecurities guide is every action and poison everything it touches. One wonders if the writer/s had based this character on someone they once knew or perhaps someone we all knew or have the unfortunate pleasure of knowing.
All in all this was a stones throw away from 10 stars. Entertaining but I'm a little disappointed it didn't measure up to what it could have been. Worth the watch!

This movie does have a soul which is lacking in many mainstream movies these days and does shows how laws (that are designed to protect innocent children, minors, women etc who cannot protect themselves otherwise) are twisted and misused for their own gains in this country and the incompetence of law and order and entire justice system. But the movie is also a court drama and is completely unrealistic in that regard. Retrials are notoriously hard as one has to prove that the trail was completely wrong, the Judge will not agree just straightaway coz someone requested for it ! Moreover the arguments and scenarios are not that good too!

Loved this movie! It's a powerful reminder that in the complex world of justice, having a skilled lawyer can make all the difference. The film masterfully captures the emotional and legal rollercoaster of an underdog caught in the system, and how one determined advocate can change the course of a life. Riveting, thought-provoking, and incredibly relevant-this one stays with you.
Justice isn't just about truth-it's about how well it's argued. What stood out was the way the narrative portrayed the nuances of the legal process-how truth and justice aren't always aligned, and how easily a life can be dismantled without proper representation. The protagonist's helplessness feels so real, it's almost suffocating-and that's where the brilliance of the writing and acting shines.

Good movie...worth watch in theatres..good story line...shivaji and Harsha Vardhan did wonderful job...BGM Should have been better... Actor nani asset to this film for production..chandu and jabilli suited well for their role...Sai kumar small role but huge impact..KATHALENNO chepparu song is awesome and sung by anurag kulakarni who is a popular singer..twists also good.. Director first film and he delivered Hit..not but least priyadarshini story selection is good after balagam which is helps to him for further projects..Revathi played mother role and very important role for film.. photography ok..must watch in theatres.

Court - State vs a Nobody presents a solid core story with a message that resonates, but unfortunately, the execution doesn't do it justice. The plot is simple, straightforward, and entirely predictable. There are no layers or twists to keep the viewer intrigued, which might work for some, but for most OTT viewers, it leaves little to look forward to.
The courtroom scenes, which should have been intense and compelling, come off as overly melodramatic with unnecessary expressions. The lack of gravity and realism in these sequences makes it feel more like a performance than a real trial. The tone almost feels tailor-made for a theatre-going audience that enjoys exaggerated performances rather than nuanced drama. Seriousness is sorely missing, something essential in legal dramas.
The screenplay feels like a stage act, and the background score is etchy and at times distracting. One can't help but feel that the cast was directed to overact deliberately, perhaps to give it a dramatic, massy vibe. But this choice alienates a segment of viewers who prefer more grounded, OTT-friendly content.
Still, credit where it's due: the movie ends with a meaningful message. It's just unfortunate that the buildup didn't quite match the strength of its conclusion. In the end, Court - State vs a Nobody might find takers among traditional theatre audiences, but for those seeking tightly executed, realistic drama, it might not hit the mark.

Court is a powerful reminder that great cinema doesn't need star power to leave an impact. The film relies entirely on its solid screenplay, restrained yet compelling direction, and performances so natural they feel lived-in rather than acted. It unfolds with quiet precision, drawing you into the mundane yet deeply unsettling realities of the legal system. The attention to detail is remarkable - nothing is flashy, yet everything has meaning. I walked in with no expectations and walked out unexpectedly moved. This is storytelling at its most honest and unfiltered - minimal in style, but rich in substance.

Court - State Vs Nobody on Netflix (Tamil track) is a rare gem that gripped me from start to finish. After a string of forgettable watches, this film felt like a breath of fresh, rustic air.
At its heart is love, that universal, oft-repeated theme, but here, it's treated with such tenderness and raw realism that it hits you hard. The adolescent attraction, the stolen glances, the hesitant conversations, all wrapped in authentic village charm, make you smile and ache at the same time. The film doesn't romanticize rural life; instead, it portrays it with brutal honesty, where love must navigate through layers of tradition, honor, and familial rigidity.
The young hero is a revelation. With nothing but his eyes, he conveys innocence, longing, and heartbreak. The girl is equally convincing, her performance rooted deeply in reality. One standout is the lawyer character, played with remarkable ease and authenticity. Very natural and believable, both the junior and senior lawyers ground the film in legal realism without ever overplaying their parts.
What stood out for me was the slow-burning tension that never let up. You're drawn into their world, dreading the inevitable, yet hoping for magic. And when the climax arrives, it doesn't scream, it breaks you quietly, irrevocably.
This is storytelling at its finest, raw, real, and deeply affecting. Watch it. Feel it. Let it stay with you.

A legal courtroom drama! Story revolves around a crime filed under POCSO act against an innocent 19 year old kid. The last 30 mins provides some strong thought provoking reasonings over how POCSO act can be misused in ruining lives of many college going youngsters. Direction is quite good but however there is no suspense in the movie n even courtroom hearings aren't that intense. But yet it holds one to the movie emotionally connected. Originally a Telugu movie dubbed in all South Indian languages including Hindi as well. Available in Netflix, my ratings 7/10!

Mark my words. Everyone is misusing laws to target innocent men and boys. The most sensitive laws like POSCO, Matrimonial laws even r@pe laws are heavily misused by women in this country with the help of lawyers and Police.
All should know laws in India. You should know that it just require few lakhs to destroy your life in India.
Movie has provided a reality check to all India. India is going towards chaos as people are now not having trust on Judiciary as well.
People have learned how to misuse laws and they see Police and Judiciary is the only way to take revenge. The corruption is deeply rooted in our country. God Bless US.

I like this movie because the value of the content.
In one scene the character Adv. Surya Teja(Priyadarshi Pulikonda) says "If someone love under 17 year and 364 day old is offence.
But the same after 18 year and 1 day is not offence. Two days difference give maturity" like very much.
I know about the value of law used on the place where that is important
Overall, Court 2025 raises important questions about the justice system and how laws should be used wisely. It's not just about rules-it's about understanding the meaning behind them.
Director "Ram Jagadeesh" thanks for the movie.
And I wish the all the cast of the movie stars...

The movie carefully unravels the plot, characters, the point it tries to make. The cast is exceptional, offering characters to perform. Sivaji is offered a role very different from his typical manner and he lived it. Harshavardhan, Surabhi (chandu's mother), the teenagers chandu and jabili, Rohini (jabili's mother), and of course Priyadarshi (Teja) immerse us into the narrative. Chandu, without a Hrithik like body yet was charming in the love story segment.
Although it builds on the many previous courtroom based films, it is fresh and does justice to its plot.
There are a few instances which didn't align to the narrative. Why would Adv. Teja give up so quickly and even blame Chandu? Their prior interactions were not established. He's the one who established the half truth of the medical shop incident. Jabili's role is dramatically silenced after the incident with no interaction what so ever with her mother. They could've covered the awkward conversations and even put Rohini in a negative shade if need be.
Barring such closures, mostly in the later half, the movie was coherent, natural, and entertaining.

The film's execution falls short in delivering a nuanced courtroom drama. The narrative often leans into melodrama, with courtroom scenes lacking the procedural authenticity that legal dramas demand. The characters, particularly the antagonist, are portrayed with a lack of depth, reducing the complexity of the legal and moral dilemmas at play. This approach diminishes the potential for a thought-provoking exploration of the justice system's intricacies.
Moreover, the film's pacing and character development contribute to its shortcomings. The initial romantic subplot feels underdeveloped, and the transition to the legal battle lacks the emotional weight necessary to fully engage the audience. While the performances, especially by Priyadarshi, bring some gravitas to the narrative, they are insufficient to overcome the script's limitations. In comparison to other courtroom dramas that offer a more realistic and layered portrayal of legal proceedings, this movie struggles to provide a compelling and believable depiction of its central themes.

It's a must watch for any age category, the movie direction was done perfectly and the way they used one song for every scene was very creative of them.
It's very rare to see such movies coming these days, when nowadays theres alot of hype for unnecessary drama films.
More movies like these should be encouraged.
Every actor played their role amazingly and very realistic, especially Priyadarshi and Sivaji.
Each courtroom scene felt so immersive and realistic.
Finally I can say you, wouldn't want to skip any part of the movie, and you'll want to watch completely.
The script writing was so good.
This movie is a gem.

Just saw the movie and its simply awesome.
Brilliantly done script, great acting, engrossing till the end. A really thought provoking film. A must watch for teens. Also it portrays how power can influence system at various levels.
Actor Sivaji is brilliant. Priyadarshi is his usual - effortless acting. I always likes the way he makes acting look so easy!
A simple yet powerful story with brilliant screenplay, brilliant casting, superlative acting and in the end a very satisfied movie goer. We need more of such movies.
Kudos to the team which made this film.
These are the benchmarks that aspiring film makers should aim for.
