Tyler Perry’s “Duplicity” has landed on Prime Video, and the writer-director brings forth a stellar cast to bring the legal thriller to life.

The cast for the film is led by Kat Graham, who stars as Marley Wells, a high-powered attorney who is on a mission to crack a murder case that hits close to home.

The movie is written, directed and produced by Perry. The film is one of the four films to come out as part of Perry’s four-picture deal with Amazon Studios announced in 2022. “Duplicity” is now available to stream on Prime Video.

I’m not sure why someone would name a film Buried Alive & Survived, which pretty much gives away the whole plot, but since it’s Lifetime Network, you kinda have to let it slide. However, there’s no such twist in this one, and the title turns out to be very literal. That’s understandable, given this film falls under the network’s “based on a true story” category, where they just pick up headlines from the newspapers and make movies out of them, I suppose. Anyway, let us see what goes on in Buried Alive & Survived.

Buried Alive & Survived Lifetime Movie Premiere Saturday September 21...

Exclusive: Lifetime has set six new original films to premiere this fall as part of its “Ripped from the Headlines” movie slate starring Heather Locklear, Ana Ortiz, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jackie Cruz, Sheila E. and Karrueche Tran. The new movies will air on Saturdays at 8 p.m./7 c.

These films join the previously announced movies, Buried Alive and Survived (Sept 21) starring Eva Marcille, and He Slid into Her DMs (Sept 28) with Courtney Thorne Smith.
