Charlie Gibson is out clubbing. She calls her parents with a desperate plea for help. Her father rushes to her rescue and gets shot dead. Charlie didn't actually call. It's a fake call with a fake AI voice.

The opening premise is pretty interesting. This is a complicated family. It would help to lay out all the connections. With the father gone, Charlie needs to get proactive and investigate on her own. Maybe she needs a best friend and the audience can see them filling out the pieces. I need help to figure out all these characters. It's confusing and not in a fun mystery way.
