Honestly the first 2 episodes are not bad but just a little boring, however it really starts to pick (even season 1 of the original DM's was a little boring so I'm not mad about it) miss glo really seems like a good teacher with great dances, the drama is there and so is the fun, if your watching this expecting anything less than drama, tears and dancing, then this isn't for you, however if you were a fan of the original DM you'll like this also. There's definitely less shouting at kids which is a good thing, but the mom drama is just the same lots of arguments about nothing that important. Overall not bad but the original is a lot to live up to.
Temu version of the original dance moms. Not worth a watch. Way worse than the original. Spoilt, rude rich kids, with poor parenting and a coach who's worst than Abby - but tries to dress like her, use the same phrases as her and even uses the pyramid like her. Her placing makes no sense - placing the girl who stepped in last minute when Audrey faked an injury was still placed last.. because Audrey is the new Maddie - But she's not Maddie because she was a nice kid. Reused storyline's that are ten times worse and fights that make no sense.
The girls fighting between themselves and being supported to do that. It's just gross.

Way to go producers at making a once great show as bad as cable news networks. Why serve a great audience a negative take on children's competitive dance.
There is not enough happiness, joy, friendships. In fact, it gave me so much angst and over the top, exaggerated drama that it seems as if the moms are only there for their daughter's fame.
Not enough happy moments. Even the dances are dark.
Kids are unhappy, teacher is unhappy, moms are unhappy,... OMG nobody is happy on this show PLUS EVERYONE is mean to each other, passive aggressive, manipulative.
.. ugh. What a downer.
These women and girls are beautiful humans who sacrifice dearly for their daughters and craft. Long hours in studios, etc... Why portray them in such a negative manner. Everyone is edited at their worst... I can not imagine this is anyone at their best.
Give us drama... not all drama has to be all negative all the time!
Not a good look.
Do better editor!

I watched as i wanted to see good dances and great dances. Unfortunately, this does not exist on this show.
The choreography just doesn't go with the music, the dance moves have no soul or movement let alone flow, and for some reason, the kids are taught to pull some bizarre faces while dancing!
Out of curiosity, i looked up Studio Bleu's website. For an award-winning dance studio - there are no teacher biographies and no mention of the studio's successes!
It just comes across as fake and very Real Housewives, rather than a show being about dancing. The show is all about the Mummy drama - which, if viewers wanted this, they would go elsewhere. Even the shows about the child beauty queens was better than this!

The real competitive dance world has evolved into a more positive and supportive one where kids feel emotionally and physically safe. This is a carbon copy of the toxic ALDC show. If you watch it with your eyes closed everything is the same - the negativity, the yelling and the real plot of the show mom drama. It's really disappointing this is the programming being pushed out. There are plenty of talented teachers out there who are training/have trained multiple dancers to become working professionals who operate from a place of love. We need to do better and provide our kids with childhoods they don't need to heal from.
