Yoga teacher Kaitlin Armstrong (Caity Lotz) and professional cyclist Colin Strickland (Kyle Schmid) are a couple struggling with various issues. They're both 35. She's a former finance manager who now manages his cycling career as it approaches the end. She wants to start a family and he does not. She feels that he is using up her money in their entangled finances. They're stuck together despite dating other people. It all comes to a boil.
This Lifetime movie is ripped from the headlines. I am a fan of Katie Boland as an actress. She may be trying to transition more into writing and directing. In this movie, the writing shows some interesting choices although the directing is mostly at TV movie level which may be due to the budget. The most intriguing aspect is that the movie seems focused on this dysfunctional relationship. Caity Lotz is doing good work.
