I am at episode eight right now and I enjoy watching this funny show very much :)
The two lead actors are really great and you learn that there are a lot of ghosts and deities hanging around Taiwan :)
Lu An-Chi is a career-driven young real estate agent and she is tasked with updating the "stigmatized houses" app of her company,
In Taiwan you don't only have to tell a possible buyer if a crime has been committed in a house or flat for sale - you also have to tell them whether it is haunted by ghosts :)
Then there is Yu Ta-chih, a slacker who can't hold a job - but for a very good reason: He has the abilitiy to see and communicate with ghosts and they always bother him at his place of employment to solve for them some issue.
They really go on his nerves!
At home he has some ghost protection hanging on his door and the only ghost he lets in is his former (now dead) high school buddy and they watch sports together and hang out :)
By chance he ends up as the assistant of Lu An-chi and the relation between the career-driven woman and the ghost-seeing slacker is just hilarious to watch :)
All the other characters are also rather quirky and have some adorable screw loose which makes them very likeable.
Together Lu An-chi and Yu Ta-chih solve haunted house cases to update their real-estate "stigmatized houses" app with the correct information and solve the problems of the ghosts so the ghosts can move on and the house can be sold.
One case so far was a little bit schmaltzy but the others were kind of funny - given the theme of death and ghosts :)
There is for example the "landlord deity". He is in fact no deity, but a ghost and every real estate agent in Taiwan knows him.
He actually helps people in their homes.
He puts out fires, saves people from gas leaks, closes the door for you so no burglar can get in and so on.
He is quite a lovable character you only have to provide him with a little "altar" (a small table) and put some roasted chicken on it because he loves the smell :)
The stories are kinda all like this and very fun to watch. The CGI-ghosts look a little bit cheap (that's why only 9 stars) but that's the only quibble I had.
If you like watching a funny and quirky show with two sympathetic main characters, this one is for you :)
