Yellowstone has quickly become one of the biggest shows in the world right now, even leading Netflix’s Bela Bajaria to name it the one show she wishes was a Netflix Original. Most Netflix subscribers have access to most of the show but are missing season 5. Sadly, there are no known plans for when that’ll come to Netflix.
In case you missed it, Yellowstone has been slowly rolling out onto Netflix around the globe for the past year or so. It began with select regions in early 2024 before further drops in late 2024 and early 2025. The rollout included nearly all countries except the United States, where the series remains exclusively streaming on Peacock for the show’s lifetime and then some. As of the time of writing, most regions of Netflix are streaming seasons 1 through 4, with a few exceptions that only have seasons 1 through 3.

Dick Dynamite: 1944 emerges as a wild burst of chaos, an independent film that spoofs and dissects the exaggerated action films of the 1980s while blending with the brutality and absurdity of war-era exploitation movies.
Set in the final moments of WWII, the film tracks its main character, Dick Dynamite, as he guides a scrappy group of fighters to prevent Nazi scientists from unleashing a zombie-driven apocalypse on New York City.
The plot remains straightforward—Nazi villains with a sinister scheme, a cigar-chomping, muscular hero, and an unending stream of violent sequences. It seems more suited to a midnight grindhouse screening than a mainstream theater, but this becomes its distinct appeal: Dick Dynamite: 1944 embraces a forgotten cinematic period with wild energy.
The film serves as a brash challenge to the idea of restraint. Its budget constraints show through crude special effects and rough visual techniques—sometimes the production quality...

“Yellowstone” may be over, but it’s legacy is carrying on. MTV Entertainment Studios, iHeartPodcasts and 101 Studios are moving forward with a new “Yellowstone” podcast, which will premiere its first episode on Jan. 23.
There will be eight episodes in the “Yellowstone Official Podcast” hosted by iHeartMedia’s Bobby Bones. The series consists of weekly deep dives into key episodes and behind-the-scenes stories as Bones explores the cast, characters, landscape and crew that brought the TV phenomenon to life. Wendy Moniz, who portrays Senator Lynelle Perry on the series, will be its first guest.
The podcast will be available on the iHeartRadio app as well as all other major listening platforms.
“I’ve been such a fan of ‘Yellowstone’ from the start. I’m excited to jump in and work with them at a deeper level to give insight for other fans of the show,” Bones said in a statement to press.

Over the years, I’ve lost track of how many “Yellowstone” spinoffs Paramount is actually making. There are the prequels “1883” and “1923” (originally titled “1932”); the upcoming sequel, “The Madison” (formerly “2024”); and then there’s “6666” and “1944,” both of which are still in development. Eventually Taylor Sheridan is going to run out of numbers, but until then, his ever-expanding Taylorverse shows no signs of slowing down.
Still, he’ll have to excuse me for assuming “Landman” — a modern western set in West Texas about a no-bullshit oil company fixer who has a daughter with oddly sexualized daddy issues, a son doing the dirty work to be just like his old man, and an awkwardly inserted country-rock song for every awkwardly forced joke about millennial snowflakes — shares more than a writer, director, executive producer, and creator with “Yellowstone.”

Alright, I'll admit it: It's hard to keep the "Yellowstone" extended universe straight. Since 2018, the Western drama about warring factions of a powerful Montana family has been a watercooler favorite of TV fans around the country, and this fall, the original series is finally set to begin its last stretch of episodes. In the years since "Yellowstone" first aired, series creator Taylor Sheridan has been pulling double, triple, and quadruple duty, crafting two prequel series (wagon train survival story "1883" and Prohibition-set drama "1923") plus several other unrelated shows for Paramount+.
Now that the end of "Yellowstone" is on the horizon, it's worth straightening out the many differing reports of what's next for Sheridan and the show's future. Poke around, and you'll see reports about no fewer than four "Yellowstone" spin-offs in development, including "6666," "The Madison," "1944," and "2024." It's a lot of dates to keep straight, and each one comes with casting rumors galore,...

Tommy Lee Jones is known to audiences for his authoritative roles in movies during the 1990s. The actor later gained commercial success and fame with his role in the Men in Black franchise. Jones also nabbed an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford.

A new trailer for Yellowstone reveals chaos at the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. The upcoming Yellowstone season 5 part 2 will end the popular neo-Western series, but the franchise will continue with further seasons of spinoffs including 1923 season 2 and the upcoming The Madison. It will not feature star Kevin Costner as ranch patriarch John Dutton, as the former series lead departed the cast ahead of the final episodes after much speculation of behind-the-scenes drama with creator Taylor Sheridan.
The official Yellowstone YouTube account has unveiled a new official teaser for season 5 part 2. Check it out below:

The trailer opens with archive footage of John Dutton reflecting on how the ranch has been in his family for generations. This sets up how the stakes have never been higher as the rest of his family has been plunged into chaos in his absence, with infighting and external...

Streaming platforms are always on the lookout for untapped opportunities to gain a competitive edge in the industry. With an ever-growing volume of content being produced, diminishing returns from franchise shows, and shifting audience preferences, it’s crucial for platforms and networks to focus on identifying whitespace opportunities — those underrepresented or underserved but highly popular content categories — when making strategic decisions.

The Yellowstone franchise is expanding (again…) with a third prequel spinoff called 1944. The series was announced by Paramount in 2023 along with 2024, a modern-day followup to Yellowstone. That was called 2024 at first, then it was rumored to be renamed The Madison. Now, it’s looking like 2024 and The Madison could be two different shows within the universe. Confused? So are we. What we do know is that none of these spinoffs are coming out before Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2, the final season. Here’s what there is to know so far about Taylor Sheridan‘s 1944 and the new Dutton story it will tell. What is Yellowstone: 1944 about? The return of Kayce, Beth, and Rip in the upcoming Yellowstone sequel indicates that the celebrated series isn't truly ending after season 5. It’s the beginning of the end for “Yellowstone,” as production has now begun on the final episodes of the megahit series.

The second and final installment, which will consist of six episodes, is slated to debut on Paramount Network in November.
As was previously reported, production on the final episodes of the series was delayed in 2023 due to the dual writers’ and actors’ strikes that shut down most of Hollywood. The wardrobe department is often the unsung hero of a film; like the set designers, they work to create a look and an atmosphere that allows viewers to suspend their disbelief and be transported into a fictional world. As a result, one might expect the most expensive movie costume ever made to come from a lavish fantasy film like The Lord of the Rings trilogy, or perhaps an extravagant period piece such as 1963's Cleopatra. The reality is actually more fitting: the wardrobe piece that holds the Guinness World Record for the most costly movie costume appears in a film that revolves entirely around fashion: 1944's Lady in the Dark, starring Ginger Rogers and directed by Mitchell Leisen.

Taylor Sheridan has developed multiple TV shows, but Yellowstone remains his most popular and best series, with its epic scale and intricate characters. Sheridan's other series, such as Mayor of Kingstown and Lawmen: Bass Reeves, have received critical acclaim and demonstrate his versatility beyond Westerns. This is the latest series to announce a return to production, with many scrambling to get back to work now that the dual writers’ and actors’ strikes that shut down Hollywood for months have been resolved. Many shows, especially on the broadcast side, are getting into shooting new seasons in the coming weeks to salvage the spring network schedules.
It was previously announced that the final episodes of “Yellowstone” are slated to debut in November 2024, with Paramount greenlighting two new shows — the prequel “1944” and a contemporary series currently titled “2024.” Reruns of “Yellowstone” are also currently airing on CBS.
It was announced in May that Taylor Sheridan’s megahit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” would be ending with its fifth season.

Yellowstone season five's final episodes will be released in November 2024, after numerous delays and scheduling controversies. Two spin-off series titled 1944 and 2024 have been greenlit and will continue the complex and compelling storytelling of the franchise. There is a possibility that Kevin Costner's character, John Dutton, could still appear in the final episodes of Yellowstone season five, despite the perceived friction between Costner and co-creator Taylor Sheridan.
Yellowstone’s days are officially numbered. Fans have waited an eternity to see the second half of Yellowstone season five, which were officially supposed to drop over the summer. However, the Kevin Costner controversy initially delayed the series’ return, and then the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes came into play. But now, at long last, Yellowstone’s final episodes have been scheduled to release on the Paramount Network in November of 2024. And two brand-new, spin-off series have been greenlit. Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 will premiere on the Paramount Network in November 2024, and the upcoming season will be the show's final installment. Additionally, two new spinoffs with the working titles 1944 and 2024 will add to the ever-expanding Yellowstone universe.
According to Deadline, 2024 will quickly succeed Yellowstone's final chapter and premiere in December 2024. Yellowstone was initially scheduled to end its run this November, followed by the debut of the contemporary spinoff in December. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes impeded production on both shows. There is speculation that series lead Kevin Costner will appear in Yellowstone's final episodes despite the recent dispute regarding his availability. Matthew McConaughey, though unconfirmed, is expected to headline 2024, joined by actors from the original series. 1944 and 2024 will join the 1883 and 1923 prequels as spinoffs with date-themed titles exploring the Dutton family dynasty across time.

The behind-the-scenes drama has been almost as juicy as what’s been on the screen when it comes to the Dutton family over the past year, but it finally appears as though there is some closure for the soapy saga of “Yellowstone’s” delayed fifth season. Cable television’s most popular show first began airing Season 5 episodes nearly one year ago with the plan to air the back half of the season in summer 2023, but dual Hollywood strikes and a growing feud between creator Taylor Sheridan and leading man Kevin Costner put a stop to that. Now, Deadline is reporting that the remaining “Yellowstone” Season 5 episodes — which will be its last — will finally air on Paramount Network in November 2024, two years after the season began.
The most popular show on TV will officially end next fall. The modern-day spin-off, reportedly starring Matthew McConaughey will be called “2024” and will premiere in December of next year.

You just can’t keep the Dutton family down: Paramount Network announced Thursday that two new Yellowstone spinoffs have been officially ordered with the working titles 1944 and 2024.
1944 is the latest in a run of prequels created by Yellowstone writer/director Taylor Sheridan. As for 2024, no plot details are currently available, other than it’s expected to begin following the conclusion of the flagship Yellowstone series. According to Variety, the contemporary spinoff will feature new cast members and locations, with crossover characters mixed in as well. As previously reported, Matthew McConaughey is set to saddle up for this modern-day rodeo.

“Yellowstone” will come to an end in a year, as Paramount Network has set a November 2024 premiere date for the final episodes of Season 5 that will mark the conclusion of the blockbuster Taylor Sheridan series.
But what is dead may never die — Paramount Network also ordered up two additional spin-offs, “1944” and “2024.” Plot details are under wraps, but the latter spin-off could very well be the new “Yellowstone” series in the works that may star Matthew McConaughey.
All “Yellowstone” series are produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
The fifth and final season of “Yellowstone” was originally scheduled to air this year, but production schedules were shifted due to the strikes and other hurdles. The first half of the season started airing in November 2022 and concluded in January, and by that point the second half of the season was aiming to air in the fall of 2023.

Though “Yellowstone” is now in its fifth and final season on Paramount Network, its series premiere just landed on broadcast TV for the first time, bringing 6.6 million viewers to CBS on Sunday night.
This marks a substantial leap from the episode’s 2.8 million viewers when it first premiered back in 2018 — though that was to be expected, as CBS reaches a larger audience than its sister cable networks, and “Yellowstone” has since become a major hit. For a more recent comparison, Paramount Network’s airing of the Season 5 premiere in November drew 8.8 million viewers, and simulcasts across Country Music Television, TVLand and Pop TV brought that number up to 10.5 million.
Sunday’s “Yellowstone” episode also benefitted from lead-in from “60 Minutes,” which aired right before and drew 11.4 million viewers. The series will continue to air in order, with two episodes per week except on NFL doubleheader nights, when only one episode will air.

Estonia’s Taska Film, the production company behind local box-office hits such as medieval crime thriller “Melchior the Apothecary,” hits Locarno’s Match Me! industry sessions with a slate that includes Jaak Kilmi’s “Dirt in Your Face,” a coming-of-age rock drama set in the twilight of the Soviet Union backed in part by Apollo, the largest cinema chain in the Baltic region.
The film follows 17-year-old Mihkel and his band as they go on a journey full of alcohol, protest and music to impress a Western producer visiting a rock festival in 1980s Soviet Estonia. In their struggle to keep the band together, the group inadvertently help split the Soviet Union apart.

Yellowstone newcomer Lainey Wilson revealed she hasn't met series star Kevin Costner yet despite already appearing multiple times in season 5. Wilson plays Abby in Yellowstone season 5, a local country singer who has a budding relationship with Yellowstone Ranch worker Ryan (Ian Bohen). Abby is a recurring character on the show, with four episodes under her belt so far.
Speaking with Fox News, Wilson revealed she hasn't met Costner yet despite her multiple appearances in Yellowstone season 5. She hopes Abby will return for Yellowstone season 5 part 2 and wants her to meet Costner's John Dutton at some point. Check out what Wilson had to say below:
When it comes to how it's going end, I don't know. I need to call Taylor Sheridan. Fingers crossed that before it does end, hopefully I get to be back on the show again. I mean, the good news is they haven't took me to the train station yet.

The expansive Yellowstone universe is gearing up to ride into uncharted territories with its new spinoff starring the charismatic Matthew McConaughey. The beloved Western drama, Yellowstone, is hanging up its spurs after a thrilling five-season run. The show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, couldn’t have chosen a better time to pass the torch, with the announcement of an untitled spinoff, as the sun sets on the Dutton family's story.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. Initially, the spinoff was dubbed a sequel. This led to fervent speculation among fans that the original cast members of Yellowstone would make a triumphant return. However, Taylor Sheridan dropped subtle hints that we might be in for something entirely different. Sheridan suggested the spinoff could introduce fresh faces and characters to the audience.
And that’s not all! Sheridan also alluded to the possibility of the spinoff being set in a location other than the iconic Yellowstone Ranch.

Fans of "Yellowstone" are understandably bummed out that the megapopular series is coming to an end, with the final part of its last season airing sometime in November. However, this does not indicate the end of the "Yellowstone" expanded universe, as a ton of prequels and spin-offs — including the much-anticipated "1944" and "6666" — along with an untitled sequel series are currently in the works. The Dutton family saga seems to have a chokehold on dedicated fans of the franchise, and the various entries go back and forth in time to paint a comprehensive picture of the family's era-spanning legacy.
Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton has been a staple of the mothership series since its first aired, and her character is known for being loyal to the family cause despite having little to no interest in the ranch. Beth used to be one of the brightest at Schwartz & Meyer, one of Montana's leading banks,...

The Estonian director's new project, the first instalment of a trilogy, is an Estonian-Latvian-German co-production. Elmo Nüganen is currently filming Melchior the Apothecary, a medieval crime thriller, in Estonia and Latvia. The film will be part of a trilogy which will include Melchior the Apothecary: the Ghost and Melchior the Apothecary: The Executioner’s Daughter. The Jõhvi-born director is best known for his extensive theatrical work and his previous two features, namely 1944 (2015) and Names Engraved in Marble (2002). The script, penned by Olle Mirme, revolves around Melchior Wakenstede (played by Märten Metsaviir), a clever and curious apothecary who, in addition to healing the sick, solves murders that shake the town. In a medieval world where people look for signs of God or the Devil in everything, Melchior’s detective work appears to be truly magical – it’s even believed that he can speak with the dead. Melchior’s actual “secret...
The intimidating task of adapting and directing Estonia’s landmark novel of the 20th century doesn’t appear to have fazed Tanel Toom in his feature debut “Truth and Justice,” nor has it challenged him to deliver anything but a respectful, well-made literary adaptation. Given that the film was one of six projects chosen by Estonia’s government-backed film-funding body for their celebration of the nation’s centennial, it’s unsurprising this rural epic, based on Anton Hansen Tammsaare’s eponymous five-part classic, hones closely to standard formulas, presenting archetypal characters formed in equal parts by their environment and their epoch. Box office records were broken at home following a late February opening, and while the film’s selection to represent Estonia at the Academy Awards was a no-brainer, its crossover chances on international screens will be limited at best.
