Best friends Toni (Fonseca) and Bri (Monet) have worked at the same card shop for more years than they should as both struggle to find their true life's path. This holiday season, Toni and Bri decide to shake up their humdrum world by creating new identities to crash the amazing Christmas parties from the shop's confidential invitations. All harmless fun. Until Toni gets mistaken for a lawyer, which isn't too far off the mark since she did finish law school...just never completed the bar exam. Toni and Bri are then whisked away to a fancy corporate Christmas retreat in the snowy Vermont mountains by handsome business mogul, Justin (McNally), whose crush on Toni is real even if her legal career isn't. And Bri is along for the ride as she has eyes for Vinny (Bal), a valet who may have a secret of his own. Can a distraction help Bri find what path in life she's supposed to follow? Will Toni end up with the guy of her dreams or in a blizzard of trouble? This fun Christmas crashing romp will either end in disaster or two happily-ever-afters.
There's really not much to say. It's the same old formula as all romances are made of, but there's very little chatting between the romantic parties and very little examination of the emotions of everyone. Fonseca and Monet have fabulous chemistry on screen, but no-one else really has. It's not a nasty film at all, it's just very banal. You would not get this out to watch at christmas just because it's christmas.
I gave it a 5 because it's not nasty, but it's not great either.

Two friends decide to spend the Christmas season crashing other people's corporate Christmas parties, and making up identities.
On the other side of the story, the CEO of an investment company also attends some of the same parties, and the issue of the identity lies starts to crash into each other.
When the female main character hears about the CEO buying an auto firm which may face a class action suit headed by her father, she has to warn the CEO about what he might be getting into.
He winds up hiring her to consult on his legal issue, but doesn't know she ditched the bar exam and isn't a lawyer.
This idea had a LOT of potential, but the writers never closed the deal. They didn't really do any kind of a job building a relationship between the romantic leads, and they lost any element of real comedy regarding the identity lies. Just having the FMC uncomfortable all the time doesn't get there.
As I said, it's watchable, but my wife and I won't rewatch this.

Two best friends from childhood start crashing holiday parties with stolen invitations from their 2-bit print job, in the process they continually make up personas...including the most ridiculous jobs. One of the two is just a drifter and the other is a law school graduate who had a panic attack when she tried to take the bar exam. Eventually the two get caught up in their lies when Toni, who is believed to be an Ivy League lawyer, gets roped into consulting on a job for Justin to cover for a former law graduate when she goes into labor.
Lots of coincidences in this film...like that Toni and Justin meet at several parties, like Justin's employee being one of Toni's classmates, like Bri meeting and hitting it off with a rich billionaire, like To i's dad being involved in a court case with the same car company that Justin is thinking of acquiring. I think their were a few too many coincidences, but it did make for an entertaining story. The one big downside was the glorification of lying. It was like watching bad people do bad things, which was just sad.
I really like Chris McNally, who played Justin and this performance was no exception (although...I am not sure I liked the long-ish hair). Overall it's an entertaining holiday hallmark film, but I wish it had more of a cautionary tale about lying, this seems more to be a road map of how to lie your way to success and romance.

As a Hallmark movie expert, this is one of the good ones to catch this 2024 holiday season. We had rewatch to catch who wrote dialogue. It is very fun to watch. The story is more believable than other Hallmark movies. Yea, it is illegal to party crash and pose as a lawyer, but it is all part of the storyline and good. Both lead actresses were perfectly cast. The post skiing scene was especially funny for us non skiers. The Indian themed wedding was so beautiful and gave representation. Felt the ending gave a perfect resolution to the conflict of the storyline. Keep Holiday Chasers part of your Hallmark Countdown.
This was a disappointment. I really like the lead actors, but the story....lie after lie after lie. These women aren't teenagers! They are full grown and still playing games like children! How could anyone take them seriously? Not to mention beginning relationships with a lie? Never a good beginning to a lasting, healthy relationship no matter what the romantic comedies try to tell us. And because of the deception and childishness of the characters, they are not as endearing as they could have been. I just didn't enjoy this story. The sets were gorgeous; all the actors beautiful....the story was just lame and dumb and some parts downright silly.

Two best friends, Toni (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Bri (DanielkanMonet) try to add some excitement to their mundane lives by crashing exclusive Holiday parties and assuming false identities. They each meet a guy they are attracted to but things go bad when Justin (Chris McNally) thinks Toni is a lawyer and enlists her help on a potential business deal, but the truth is she had a panic attack and never completed law school. The situation becomes more complicated because Justin's recent breakup involved a lying girlfriend and one thing he hates are liars! There's also a hidden deception with Bri and her flame Vinny (Jag Bal). The lead actors have great chemistry. The movie is entertaining and a bit unique, although it has the usual Hallmark "conflict" as part of the plot. My complaint, as with all Hallmark movies, is that they need to tighten the middle of the script and allow more time for the script to focus on the story conclusion which always feels hurried and rushed and squeezed in to the final 10 minutes. In this movie we want more of the relationship between Toni and Justin instead of the proverbial "a year later" and a lot happened in that time. BUT a nice movie overall.

So, if you hoped for another wedding crashers, this is not it. This doesn't even come close to title it represents. Title has (almost) nothing with plot. Not to talk ahead, i never seen any of these actors anywhere (that i can think of), so it could be poor directing, writing or acting, or (probably the case), everything combined. Acting is criminal. Camera is criminal. Dialog is criminal. Writing is criminal. Editing is criminal.
This is terrible, on so many levels its almost comical. Thing is, it only gets worse as movie progress, script is terrible chemistry is close to subzero between characters and atmosphere (if we say this is "holiday" movie) is non existent. 2 stars is a GIFT for this. (Early) Xmas miracle so to speak.
I am giving 2 stars only out of sympathy for the actors, because i guess i want to believe they really put some kind of effort into making this.

What a fun, sweet, and heartwarming movie Holiday Crashers is. Very unique for a Hallmark production. The story begins with two women who are friends and who are each at loose ends in their lives. Bri (Daniella Monet) has been working at odd jobs since she was 13 to help support her mother and sister. Toni (Lindsey Fonseca) is a law school graduate who had a panic attack while taking the bar exam and couldn't finish it. While working at a shop that prints party invitations, they decide to attend a holiday party themselves for fun after finding extra invitations. Ever feel like things are going nowhere for you? Along the way, Toni meets a charming business man (Chris McNally) and Bri meets a sweet guy (Jag Bal) who sparks her interest and so the romance begins! As in any good rom- com, conflict ensues, in this case as a result of mistaken identities. In the end though, as with all Hallmark movies, there is a HEA all around.
Holiday Crashers is a delightful movie that has two charming couples with great chemistry, lots of fun moments and dialogue, sparkling photography, angst, and a beautiful ending. A joy to be watched again and again!

This movie is titled and starts out as one about two young women who become experienced party crashers. They lie through their teeth about who they are and what they do.
About a third of the way through it becomes a story about the leads developing their relationship at a retreat. Toni is a law graduate who panicked during her bar exam but gets mistaken for a real lawyer. Many rom/coms and Christmas movies have an important lie hanging over the protagonist's head waiting to break at the worst moment. The problem with this movie is that Toni's complete deception is at best unethical and probably just plain criminal. This is not your typical deception story. What is going on is more than just some prank or misunderstanding.
Beyond any legal issues, the two young women are full of energy and entertaining. In other words, they are a little wild at times. There is chemistry with Fonseca and Chris McNally. This is probably a decent movie and fun too if you can get past the legal issues. I can't.

Holiday Crashers is a delightful holiday rom-com that offers a refreshing twist on the familiar genre. Starring Chris McNally, Lyndsy Fonseca, Daniella Monet, and Jabg Bal, the film follows two best friends who decide to crash exclusive holiday parties for a bit of fun. However, their escapades take an unexpected turn when they find themselves entangled in a web of lies and mistaken identities.
The film's charm lies in its ability to balance humor and heartfelt moments. McNally and Fonseca have excellent chemistry, and their witty banter keeps the audience engaged. Monet and Bal also deliver strong performances, adding depth and richness to the story.
The holiday setting is beautifully captured, and the festive atmosphere is infectious. The characters' personal journeys are both relatable and inspiring, making the film a satisfying viewing experience.
Overall, Holiday Crashers is a fun and heartwarming film that is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. If you're looking for a lighthearted escape with a touch of romance, this movie is definitely worth watching.

Another dumb script ruined a Hallmark movie. Is it an impossible task to find a decent script? There should be plenty of writers between the US and Canada still recovering from the writers strike. Seems like the place to start are Hallmark movies that were popular and got favorable reviews, find those writers. Hallmark had a reputation for having very high quality rom-coms, but they're not what they used to be.
A lot of the cast are regulars, Canadian actors and actresses who are in a lot of Canadian rom-coms, they are filmed in Canada but set in the US. Good to see Chris McNally. I assume this was filmed in the greater Vancouver area and the locations are beautiful.

Loved the dynamic between the women, they felted like best friends. Crashing parties is not new and wouldn't we all like to be someone new at times and enjoy a nice holiday party at the same time. Then bring in the romance and you have a real party now. Loved Chris McNally as Justin. Justin was instantly smitten with Toni (Lyndsey Fonseca) and what follows is fun, romantic and heartbreaking. But with any good Hallmark flick they find their way back into each other's lives. I absolutely loved the McNally twirl at the end. What could be a better way to end a fun romantic flick than a twirl or two.
I won't bother with "Holiday Crashers" again. Aside from elements of the plot being somewhat close to illegal in the real world, it was kind of silly.
Although I enjoyed - as always - Lynsey Fonseca's performance, Daniella Monet as Bri really got on my nerves.
Props to Hallmark for casting Jag Bal as one of the love interests. I enjoy seeing a little diversity in these Christmas movies, unlike certain other networks where that seems to be a bridge too far.
Good to see Hallmark regulars/veterans Keith MacKechnie and Laura Soltis. They are both very reliable in the acting department, and "Holiday Crashers" certainly does not blot their respective copybooks.

Absolutely loved this Movie!!! Super exceeded my expectations! Fresh, energetic and different from the usual Hallmark Troupe! The chemistry between the four leads was incredible! The wardrobe choices were spectacular and so festive. Chris McNally does not disappoint as a romantic lead with his charm and screen presence! Loved the cultural aspects as well as the family and friendships that were centric to the movie! I also appreciated the ending with a perfect resolution to the conflict. Ready for a sequel! I will be watching this one many times over! A new favorite for sure! #CountdowntoChristmas.

The relationship between the two friends - Bri and Toni, the one trying, unsuccessfully, to reign her in. Thankfully she goes along with her ideas this time.
Chris McNally (Justin) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Toni) are great together and have amazing chemistry. Their banter was cute and you could tell there was an immediate attraction.
When Toni gets mistaken for an attorney and get an invitation to a weekend retreat at Justin's lodge, the fun really begins. As the couples grow closer, the truth begins to get out. As with all Hallmark movies, everything works out.
Chris McNally and Lyndsy Fonseca were great together and had tons of chemistry. Would love to see another movie with these two. Chris McNally is by far the best romantic lead. No one does romance or kisses like Chris does. The twirl at the end is becoming his trademark and he does it perfectly. Talented, gorgeous and so subtle in his performances. Chris has it all.

I'm Stumped With All The Bad Reviews- I thoroughly enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. First let me say I thought the casting was perfect LF & CM were oh so good in this, they had chemistry! For all those talking about "the lies" for goodness sake, who hasn't lied.. give me a break. This movie was fun, funny, heartwarming, relatable, likable... I thought the sets were amazing as well. I loved both Daniella Monet & Jag Bal, they were so cute together, I absolutely loved the wedding dance at the end! It was so entertaining and I'm very happy I watched it. Kudos to the leads LF & CM, both so talented and kudos to the entire cast and crew, you handed me two hours of pure entertainment - for that, I say THANK YOU!
