Ye know when comes the isekai genre is hard to find the most enjoying n entertaining.

Following those random tropes that we all know love, some re silly, those that re hard to execute, now fame MAPPA experiment with full depth character n dazzling visuals.

Here review:

Zenchu premise like any other isekai revolving around of egotistical n obsesive compulsive artist name Netzuko having accomplished what most can do one year.

So to make short she it some rotten shrimp, dying in the process, taking her to the world of her favorite anime Nine Warriors meeting her heroes, one been the hero Luke fighting the good fight against the insects like invader the void. Knowing her world's struggle to start been social n nice taking advantage of their quality n talents but the tension that Luke n Netzuko is perfect romcom they have from beginning to end. Seen the ending she knows how things gonna turn out, so she always on top to keep him busy.

Offering lots depth from the other cast from the lizard men being the consius of the anime, the unicorn the comedic relief, they all play well on the daily life of the animator, Coming from renoun MAPPA visuals re awesome from when Netzuko start drawing to saving the day, to the variety horde of voids come vibrant n lightning fast deliver.

So conclude awesome n pitch perfect for isekai anime, that really follows the tropes but give us a well study character.

First for me seen someone cover with her hair, ke hell bro?

It's not boring or critically annoying, but it's not that good either.....

I like logic and consistency in my entertainment, and this show is rather illogical and inconsistent, not that much but enough to be noticed.....

At this point, I'm tired of romance in anime that does not lead to a romantic relationship, you have characters ogling each other for 12 episodes and in the end there's nothing...

The plot is overly basic and mostly childish, a lot of time is wasted on rubbish, they should have made a movie instead.

The graphics are good, but I really didn't like the hair in the face gimmick.

My expectation was that this anime was about making anime, but after watching the main character, he ended up in his favorite movie world because he was poisoning, but what's unique about this anime is that the MC gets the power of images after entering his favorite movie world and The graphics of this anime are very pleasing to the eye because it was made by Mappa Studio and this is their original anime. The story also gets more and more exciting and interesting and I always wait to see what picture Natsuko Hirose will draw next and i always wait for the love story of luke and natsuko hirose.

I can't believe this anime has such bad stars when it's so good, interesting enough all these ratings are before the anime even finishes releasing its first season which makes no sense because everyone knows that 12 episode animes always have a dark twist which makes the anime just so much better!!! With episode 10 releasing and my jaw dropped the entire time it's safe to say that this warm hearted anime is not just all happy and a good laugh, there's so much more to it with great twists it should be rated at least an 8 on IMDb!! Oh also the art is just so pretty and I luv natsumes transformations!! So cute! I hope more people can watch this anime and enjoy it how much that me and my family enjoyed it!

I loved this anime and how it was comedic, action, and with a hint of romance, it was just so cute! The visuals, too, are amazing. I could literally eat this anime! I wasn't expecting the dark turn the anime had but I'm pleasantly surprised! It really created such a thorough story and it makes me want to keep rewatching it! If you are wondering if you should watch it I 10/10 believe you should! The first episode was good, but if you don't know about it after watching the first, watch the second one and the rest because you will be HOOKED!! Oh shoot I need more characters to submit! Lol but yeah watch it!

I was initially reluctant to watch Zenshu, as many hyped shows often disappoint, and unfortunately, this one follows suit. To start, I found her hair to be quite bothersome. Additionally, the unicorn character was equally annoying. The main character comes off as gluttonous, overly aggressive, and irritating. On a positive note, the animation is truly beautiful, which seems to be its only redeeming quality.

However, beneath the gorgeous visuals, there are hints of deeper storytelling potential. At times, the plot reveals moments of emotional resonance and humor that may appeal to audiences. The supporting characters, while quirky, occasionally add unexpected charm and complexity to the narrative.

For those who value artistic animation, Zenshu might still be worth your time. It highlights how visual storytelling can engage viewers, even when the story itself doesn't fully satisfy. Perhaps as the series progresses, it will evolve, refining its characters and plot into something more engaging and memorable. For now, it serves as a reminder of animation's ability to captivate, even when other aspects falter.

This storyline offers a nuanced look at an animator's personal and professional journey, shedding light on the pressures and complexities of the industry. For MAPPA, known for action-packed anime series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Hell's Paradise, Zenshu marks a daring venture into new and unexplored territory.

Zenshu: The Art of Wasting Time in High Definition

Zenshu is a failure. It's not misunderstood, it's not ahead of its time - it's just bad. It tries to be profound but ends up being hollow. Every frame is polished, every scene is pretty, and none of it matters. The writing is a bloated mess of clichés, the characters are walking tropes, and the story goes nowhere slowly. It drowns in its own pretension, pretending to be deep while saying absolutely nothing.

The teamwork arc is laughable - forced, unearned, emotionally empty. The relationships are artificial, the drama is mechanical, and the resolution feels like a PowerPoint presentation dressed as a climax. There's no real conflict, no growth, just scripted bonding and soft lighting.

The isekai angle? Another tired trope with nothing new to offer. It wants to be meta, but it's just lazy. A character dies and wakes up in a fictional anime world - wow, how revolutionary. Except not. It's been done a hundred times with more heart and less ego.

Zenshu doesn't tell a story. It assembles pretty pieces of other stories and hopes you won't notice the lack of soul underneath. Watching it feels like being lectured by someone who's never lived what they're preaching. It's a masterclass in how not to write emotional stakes, how not to build a world, and how not to waste 12 episodes of expensive animation on a script that doesn't deserve it.

Beautiful visuals, wasted potential, and a story that insults your intelligence. Zenshu isn't just bad - it's empty.

Going into this anime I thought I wouldn't like it because episode one we didn't see her face once! But every episode we see her face more and more and the idea around it connecting to their relationship is way too cute. I loved this anime for what is was even a few episodes in and now as the newest episodes come out the anime is shocking with crazy cliffhangers!! And just like more 12 episode animes it took a dark turn which was actually really nice because it added so much more depth to the anime. I love the relationships and the comedy aspects while they still keep the plot of saving the world it's very well written and well paced! Will definitely be rewatching! I've watched so many animes and I'd definitely say it's one of my favorites!

I'm completely in love with Zenshu. At first, I thought it was just another unoriginal isekai story and gave up after watching the first episode. But after reading many comments in a thread, I decided to give it a second chance - and I'm so glad I did. I had totally misunderstood both the story and MAPPA.

It's actually a sincere and heartfelt narrative, a bit reminiscent of Look Back. It's a love letter to anime fans and animators alike. I truly hope more and more people will discover and enjoy this animation.

I didn't know that this anime would turn out so great and good .

At first I had low expectations from it but as I watch it episode after episode It turned out so great .

Mappa has done a great work on it.

The animation is good ,story is good ,all the characters are good,the romance scenes in this anime makes my heart flutter.

As you watch it the latter episodes leaves you on the edge .

Man this "Zenshu"anime is good .

If there was a option to rate it above 5 I would definitely go to a perfect 10.

Wow. As of April, it's my definitive pick for my anime of 2025. And unless something serious comes along, I legitimately doubt that will change. I could gush about Zenshu for days on end.

From the extremely well-directed voice acting and stand out performance by Madeline Morris as Natsuko Hirose, to the gorgeous and whimsical soundtrack rich with stunning piano and violins perfect for the setting, it all comes together beautifully. Not to mention a genuinely fascinating backdrop of a cinematic world that, once we become acquainted enough with it, we begin to feel as though we've also seen this movie that doesn't even really exist.

And the biggest aspectic I enjoyed: the impact that art can have on your life. This show is agorgeous exemplification of how, while art may just be lines on paper to some, it can provide just as many people with love, comfort, inspiration, and a reason to keep living (seriously, watch Episode 4). The characters are unforgettable and an amazingly fun time.

God what a fantastic show that I cannot recommend enough. It's a war crime that it isn't particularly popular. For the love of everything, MAAAPPAAAAAA! DROP ANOTHER SEASON OR EVEN AN EPILOGUE OVA OF ZENSHU, AND MY LIFE... IS YOOOURS!!!!

I got into this anime not expecting much, but I honestly enjoyed every single second of it.. the story is so unique and different.. I've never seen something like it before.. and in the same time the narrative way and the characters and specially the visual side and the colors in this enemies so awesome and it made me love it even more.. I need a season 2 right now.. at the same time I feel like there is some moments that is not necessarily important.. as some character who is exist just because some attention and weird stuff . But aside of everything..

Overall this was actually fun.. really fun to watch and interesting anime.. and I had a great time with it.. and I have to mention the ending because it's one of the most beautiful endings I've seen

I really enjoyed the whole watch finished it in one sitting. I was watching anime a lot when I was in highschool years back and went to mangas and manwhas I been reading everyday for at least 7 years and haven't touch any anime seriously in that time being just some casual binge watching. I loved the theme which went to direction I would fantasize about some of my watched animes. Can't get into it without it being a spoiler but you'll get the theme in few episodes. Enjoyed the characters a lot. Not many are into isekia but it really is not a usual one different kind of approach and I loved it. If I can find I'll probably get some figures. This anime make me fall in love with anime again so i might be biased but I loved it! Hoping for some OVA and maybe extra episodes to see what happened after the ending. Hopefully it will come.
