Only Bengali film lovers will understand why Khadaan is so important. Directed by Soojit Dutta (Rino) and starring Dev, Jisshu U. Sengupta, Barkha Bisht, Idhika Paul, Anirban Chakraborty, Parthasarathi, Raja Dutta, and John Bhattacharyya, this film has left an indelible mark.

Dev delivers a tremendous performance in this mass entertainer. Once known for his charismatic screen presence and exceptional dance skills, he has now reached new heights in acting. Every time he appears on screen, the audience is filled with excitement. Jisshu Sengupta as the antagonist is a treat to watch, showcasing a nuanced portrayal of a baddy. Barkha Bisht and the supporting cast give their best performances, even with limited screen time.

The chemistry between Dev and Idhika is electrifying, leaving a lasting impression. Rathijit's background score is outstanding, and the songs have all become chartbusters. The screenplay is fast-paced, though it occasionally leaves the audience wishing for more depth in certain characters or scenes. Sailesh Awasthi's cinematography is top-notch, capturing every frame beautifully.

Overall, Khadaan is a fantastic watch, and fans are eagerly hoping for at least one mass film from Dev every year!

This film depicts the war of power and friendship between two coal-mine workers and mafias of Damodar Valley, with some amazing action, twists & turns.

The story, co-screenplay, co-dialogues and direction by #SoojitRinoDutta is good. His narrative style is simple and linear mostly.

The story and screenplay is engaging. But some scenes were dragging at times.

#ShaileshAwashthi being the cinematographer steals the show. It is of high order.

#MdKalam's editing could have been crisper by 15 minutes or so.

Music Directors #RathijitBhattyacharya, #NilayanChatterjee & #Savvy has done a great job, specially the Kishori song. Other songs are peppy too.

As per the performances are concerned, #Dev and #JisshuSengupta has performed very well. #IdhikaPaul looked ravishing, #BarkhaBisht made a great comeback, but her dialect was not convincing enough as a colliery inhabitant. #AnirbanChakrabarti has yet again given a consistent performance. #ParthasarathiChakraborty tried to give a shade to his character resembling Nasser from Bahubali. #SnehaBose has not given proper space in the narrative. #JohnBhattacharya as Makhan has his fair share of antagonism but the narrative tends too predictable for smart audience for the main one and looked upon him as a puppet in the hands of the average screenplay. But he looked very fit, handsome and flaunted a killing persona. The other casts including Sumit Ganguly, Sujan Neel Mukherjee, Raja Dutta, Aayan Sohan, Biswajit Ghosh, Raima Pal, Debashis Nath had lent abled support.

Pradip Bhattacharya has his moments worth remembering and Jayshree Bose was endearing too, but her assassination scene was not justified when the other family members were abducted to the climax. Is it only because the latter were leads or what?

Production by #SurinderFilms & #DevEntertainmentVentures respectively of #NispalSingh & Dev along with distributor Surinder Films has made a mass popular film providing wholesome entertainment. 👍🏻

See, first of all I won't claim this film as the best of the lot, but it was a honest approach to take us back to the 2008-15 period, and they did delivered on that..

The only suggestions I had that duration was bit short, I understand since it is a Commercial after a long time, makers were not sure whether the audience going to sit in the theater for more than 2:30 hr.. thus the speedy first half.

But above all of that you should watch it and Celebrate the film in this festive window if you are a Fan.

I hope the film reaches to a maximum number of audience, I can see the general audience are already celebrating the film, hope it grows even more.

The se design the cinematography is awesome and stylish also background music is awesome.

The performances of the actors were too good specially dev and jisshu's it's a blockbuster bengali film after a long time.

The Biggest Monster Of Bengali Tollywood Industry* 🔥 This movie is really a must watch in theatre. I went in with little expectations and came out really amazed. Dev Da has really shown his best in this movie, his acting seems on point! Music×Action story of this film is all great. All actors have done great.. This is the magic of filmmaking which takes you to the world of amazement, thats what i felt watching this in theatre!! Movie also has social message in movies on few issues with todays society and those do make a huge impact on connecting with the cast. This is a total family movie, no vulgarity at all we would love to see more such collab between Dev Da × Jissu Da <3 Beginning of a new ERA.

Expected a lot from this movie. But very much disappointed with the screenplay and dialogues. There is no solid character building of any of the main character. The story line is very loose and has no logic behind it. Dialogues aren't appropriate and acting was overall average. But Jisshu Sengupta was brilliant. He might only the reason to watch this movie for once.

It's just a cheap copy of commercial South films.

I know this film could be a hit, as it is a commercial Bengali film. But that doesn't define the quality of the movie, as the mass audience are "unsophisticated audience".

But love for Dev da for such courageous attempt.

This is a life time experience Khadaan proved that Bengali films too have the quality to compete with others. Today I went to watch the movie Khadaan and I will explain both the negative and positive aspects of this movie and discuss the information with you. I am coming to the negative aspects First of all the engagement in this Khadaan movie was not very good but after 2nd half the engagement of this movie is very powerful and next we will wait for Khadaan 2 I don't know if it can be more powerful but here is the normal movie the heroine was our barkha character HisThe character was a bit down and the movie was very fast in the first phase.2nd half Slowly the movie slows down and Now we will come to the positive aspects Really this Khadaan movie in Bengali fast time I have never seen in my eyes last 10 years if you like to see this one thing again Khadaan movie Devda has backed again in its own form and with new concept but this Khadaan concept has happened. A lot of entertain a lot of energy.

I have never seen such a powerful BGM song in a Bengali film before, I really like the BGM.

The cinematography is perfect and everything from the design brief to the design is powerful.

The direction and story trailing plot were all powerful and all character dialogue delivery is amazing,full of energy.

Honestly the action sequences in the movie Khadaan are very energetic in some places and the action is very well designed and designed.

Let's go here, the story boarding shown in this way, the story telling is perfect in everything. There are a few negatives that I will mention.

First time after bangla film amazon expedition where the croma sequests where the parts of vFx are powerfully rotoscoping chroma cut I was very happy to see the post work, post production work is very good to see the whole sets here The realistic set seemed completely unrealistic.

Anyway, I enjoyed watching this movie after many years, I want Dev Entertainment Ventures and Khadan team to come to Bengal to make more such series or more such concepts to make industry powerful movies.

But Devda, let me say one thing, small mouth is big. This is a pan India release movie when are you releasing this movie?

After a long time I went to watch a Bengali movie in a theatre. I can tell you the worst movie I am watching because whenever I go to watch a Bengali movie, I go with a hope that this movie will probably be good but the movie industry in West Bengal has fallen very low in Bengali movies. Whoever knows the good taste in movies, has seen good movies, they can never watch such movies. They will never like such movies. This is the segment of the audience that this movie is targeting. Tell me the basic time of the movie. A cheap movie has been made by combining movies. Now it is up to you to keep watching or not. It is a very simple story. The screening is absolutely bad cinema. Autographs are bad. Songs are placed in movies every now and then. Anyone is making an entry without any reason. There is no scripting. Scripting knowledge is zero. All the money I wasted, you can do it too.

I must say this is the best movie, please everyone should go to theatre and see how good this movie is. And I must say during action music you have goosebumps in every sequence of action. Action, story,music all is superb. Dev and Jissu is Rock.requesting you all to please go to cinema hall and don't copyright or spoil.someone can say pushpa kgf there action has much better but I can say pushpa of Alluarjun and Rocky bhai they are good but being a bengaly family background I love Dev da.. when you see this movie forget about ist it any tollywood movie or south indian movie !Khadaan is overall perfect Action pack movie. This is a fantastic movie. The dialogues was awesome. Acting of Jishu Sengupta is just mind blowing. Obviously Dev's acting is also awesome. Even the dialogue of Jishu SenGupta was fabulous. After a long time I watch such type of Bengali movie. I suggest everyone to watch this movie in hall. The songs are also good , Kishori already is famous. Raja Raja song is also good song. I have to say about some good dialogues of Dev. Now those dialogues are really famous like Tor baap eseche, Etc. And one dialogue of jisu Sengupta Jay Guru , the way he delivered the dialogue that's really very good.

The story of the movie is also good, I don't want to tell about story because you have to watch this in hall.

The movie didn't live up to its expectations or hype. The plot was known from the trailer itself (which is not a great thing), so I was looking forward to the execution. But what I saw was a relatively weak screenplay, half-baked characters, overdose of action and too many songs.

In the first half there was five songs which is very ridiculous to me. The film's title khadaan but there is a lack of elements in Coal mine atmosphere. Apart from the performances of Jishu Sengupta, Anirban Chakrabarti and Dev, and a pathetic last 1 hour, there is nothing much to write about for this film. For me it's nothing but a money & time waste product.

This is the best movie . It reminds my childhood memories .. Dev , Joshua are both awesome with the characters. After a long time . We are seeing Dev with This character. Bengali cinema started pumping with this movie. It will be staying with people's memory for long long time. Also the songs are so heart touching that I hear every day these songs. I really love the movie. Please go and watch this movie. It's full entertainment. I know Dev will be making many more movie like this in future. We will wait for the same. I will watch this movie again and again. It will be blockbuster movie. Thanks for this entertaining trilling movie.

I rarely give bad reviews to Bengali movies-no point in beating a dead horse. But this film was an exception. If you're going to copy a South Indian movie, at least get the screenplay and storytelling right. Most scenes felt incomplete, and the story was painfully predictable. Dev's attempt to imitate Yash and Prabhas fell flat, lacking the depth and charisma they embody. The only saving grace was Jisshu Sengupta, whose stellar performance stood out. Even John's entry music was blatantly copied, with much of the background score recreated from other movies. Overall, it was a disappointing and unoriginal effort.

All I can say is that the 'good reviews' are just paid; nothing else justifies this disaster. This could very well go down in history as one of the BEST WORST MOVIES. Almost two decades in cinema and still one can't act? There is something off about Dev. He might be a good person, but he should definitely go on hiatus and probably return only as a producer, not as an actor. Bengali commercial cinema really needs to either step up its game or cease to exist. Even Jishu was little off beat. I mean the guy needs how to act but his hand gestures on that "khol" was just not convincing. I feel sorry for myself for spending my hard earned money on this.

It's a nice movie with nice story. Haters will bark, but the fact is it's really a good movie. Action, dance, dialogue, story, acting all are there. It's a complete package. Dev is brilliant, specifically shyam mahato character. The aura, expression, dialogue delivery, eyes expression all are fabulous. Jishu sengupta is outstanding. Brilliant actor. Partha sarathi's expression is fabulous, John is also brilliant. Everyone's performance are top notch. But the main part of this movie is the story. Story is really good. But 1st half is very fast. You have to watch the movie with full concentration. Otherwise you will miss the 1st half, or you have to watch this movie for 2times. Overall it's a good movie. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
