Vijay Raghavendra and Bhavana does justice to the characters played . Rangayana Raghu yet again performs splendidly as a support actor. Petrol Prasanna does a good job playing a cop role. Seemed very realistic. The director managed to realistically portray the police and situations. The hierarchy in police system is wonderfully showcased. The struggle of the people who rely on daily wages is aptly presented by Saajan Kataria. While these are the good parts the movie is bogged down by slow screenplay,the suspense part is predictable. The second half is predictable and audience seems to know what's gonna happen next . If the second half was tightened a bit would have been engaging for audience.

ACP Lakhsmi (Bhavana) is on the recent burglary case involving serial murders. Newly joined ASI Wilson (Vijay Raghavendra) is reporting at the same station as ACP Lakshmi. He has a doctor girlfriend whose brother is opposing their marriage and Wilson is also yet to pay the bribe for his posting which he got through influence. There is also a migrant Panipuri worker struggling to collect enough money for his son's treatment. Hot-headed Wilson messes with a local goon who already has a beef with ACP Lakshmi. How all these people's lives get impacted due to the individuals' actions forms rest of the story.

Devi Prasad Shetty has better command on the screenplay this time and do not repeat the mistakes he committed with Seetharam Benoy. He has been gifted with the talented cast which is almost same as his first film and the new additions being Bhavana and Rangayana Raghu. With the cast chipping in commendable performances, Devi Prasad Shetty ensures to narrate a gripping thriller which has a fast paced narrative. The characterization of the principal characters stand out and plays an important role in the narrative. The blemishes are few and the pre-climax fight could've been executed better. Apart from that, Case of Kondana makes up a for a good watch and the new director delivers in his 2nd venture.

Movie Review: Case of Kandana - A Complete Waste of Time

"Case of Kandana" is hands down one of the worst films I've seen in years. The plot is completely incoherent, leaving you confused from the first scene to the last. It feels like the filmmakers didn't even bother with a script. The pacing is atrocious-scenes drag on endlessly without any sense of direction.

The acting? Absolutely dreadful. The lead actors seem to be sleepwalking through their roles, delivering lines with zero emotion or depth. The supporting cast doesn't fare any better, coming across as if they're in a high school play rather than a professional film.

The cinematography is lazy, with poorly framed shots and lackluster visuals. Even the soundtrack is grating, failing to match the tone of any given scene. The special effects, if you can call them that, look outdated by at least a decade.

I kept hoping for some redeeming moment, but it never came. Instead, I just watched as it became a bigger trainwreck with each passing minute. Honestly, this was two hours of my life I will never get back. If you're thinking of watching "Case of Kandana," save yourself the misery and skip it.

I watched this movie expecting it to be a fair thriller with a little bit of mystery element in it. The movie in the first 20 minutes kept the hopes high. If the audience is a thriller is mystery fan, this movie will disappoint you badly. The different story and timelines which the director tries to connect are done so in a very vague manner. Most of all it fails to give that edge of the seat feel. As a thriller fan, there's this back of the mind eagerness to know what's next, but this storyline especially due to the bad direction fails to build up the momentum and at the very least you don't feel thrill and suspense to me what happens next Story will sound good if it's narrated, but only a good director can do justice to the audience by bringing it live on screen

Lost 2 hours worth of time. Everything is predictable about the movie.

Director Devi Prasad puts an interesting spin on the thriller template that we are used to. The all-important crime at the fictional place, Kondana, and the incidents that lead to it are purely accidental. It's refreshing to see the protagonist as an innocent on the run and one who is constantly gripped with fear and guilt.

Ending could be been better but must watch movie.

One of the most pathetic movies I've seen in recent years. Abhorrent screenplay, no story line. It was literally a mistake that I clicked on this joke. Im a big fan of Malayali thrillers and thought let's try a Kannada story! Nope, big mistake.

I still can't fathom what was the point of putting the death stress of the panipuri seller, when Wilson could just escape it by saying that he himself is a police officer and found the body. He would have saved 3 officers ! That spot had no witnesses at all. ACP laxmi tries hard but instead of a strong woman, she comes out as a rude pseudo feminist who thinks being strong means being disrespectful. The goon angle was so unnecessary.

Heard good reviews about the film but regret for missing in theatres one of the recent best thriller....there is no suspense but still managed to bring you for seat edge....can easily termed as finest thriller.... Films starts with mid phase then slowly it picks up after 40 mins for the night to start it's then one night story.... traveling in 4 tracks is really keeps you engaged ..some main character will hunt you even after watching the film...how one night changed everyone's life....the subject doesn't focus on regular hero and villian something new is tired....and can easily termed as finest thriller....

All the character did the justice with their performance under the nice direction. Never felt bored throughout watching.

Some scenes shown a shadow of our day to day struggle of existence. For example, the first part of the scene showing ASI Wilson a cop with full of zeal and a good romantic guy turned out to be a selfish man, similarly a Pani Poori wala who struggling for money for treatment of son into a thief. Similarly, movie shows how people change when it matters to their family or them.

However, some scenes were far beyond realistic but is a superb time pass movie that will hold you tightly till the climax.
