Onyx Collective has ordered a drama pilot with Edgar Ramírez attached to play one of the leads, Variety has learned.
The untitled pilot hails from writers and co-creators Roberto Patino and Cassius Corrigan. Both also serve as executive producers, with Patino also set as showrunner. Ramírez will executive produce in addition to starring.
The official logline states, “In a cutthroat battle to dominate the Manhattan skyline, two rival real estate developers risk everything — wealth, family and their souls — as their ambition turns into obsession, and their partnership turns into war.”
Ramírez will play Moises Saladín, described as “the charismatic heir to a Latin American real estate empire, whose unyielding ambition blurs the line between visionary genius and ruthless tactician.”
