1919, Portugal, Lisboa. Sacadura Cabral has a plan to be the the first to fly to Brazil, crossing the south Atlantic. He needs the government support and a good navigator. In the meantime Gago Coutinho returns from Africa.
Finding a position is now a solved problem, but finding the best course is not. Because winds cause the plane to drift. How to solve that? In the mean time, competition from the Army aviation is also on the run to get to Brazil.
It still needs to set the best course and get the best plane. And there is still one last, and quite hard, problem to solve. There is too much weight. And then, reality remembers all that this is not an adventure without dangers.
