South park has had many ups and down the last few years. But the specials were always a moment where south park could go above and beyond.
And I'm glad to tell you that this special is no different.
Balancing the tried and true formula with new ideas has always been a tough act. And in this episode they do repeat some storybeats from other recent specials. But not so much where it became boring.
Overall this episode shows a lot of the qualities post 2020 south park has to offer. And when ranking all the south park specials, this one sits somewhere slightly above the middle. Still the above average quality compared to standard episodes. But not hall of fame worthy.
Certainly worth a watch.

South Park seems to always call out the absurd extremists on both sides of every issue. Not only do they call them out, they make it funny and entertaining. I think the world would be a better place if politicians would consult with the creators and writers of this show. With most politicians and media personalities, on both sides, out of touch with average people this would help. This special hits the nail on the head showing Hollywood laziness and shameless pandering. This episode does target Disney the most, but it's really true for the entertainment industry as a whole. I highly recommend everyone to watch this special.
It is tough for a show that's been running this long to stay relevant, insightful and just the right amount of edgy. The Pandemic Specials and other installations of the newer South Parks have had some visible symptoms of having lost the edge a bit - again understandable - but boy oh boy this one is probably one of the best South Park episodes in a decade.
It manages to poke fun in multiple directions at the same time and most importantly dishes out some poignant, valid critique at the industry. B-plot was a bit meh and Randy sure has gone a pretty harsh Flanderisation but it's still entertaining enough.
Sure it's going to anger a lot of people and seems to have already done so but to me that is exactly the point of South Park. These episodes is why I watch this show.

The producers hit the target with this intelligent and acidic humor, a trademark of South Park, Disney's current "panderverse" and the lack of creativity in Hollywood (which even seems to have its latest scripts created by AI's), so repetitive and with swapping genders and races of classic characters, making no sense at all.
It's great when a work (like this film) addresses something that all of us who love the priceless Marvel Universe, which Disney bought (it would be better to say, kidnapped) have done with our beloved characters.
I would love to see the reaction of Kathleen Kennedy, Bob Iger, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, watching their Southparkian counterparts.
Good job, Trey Parker and Matt Stone!
Looking forward to this gang's next adventure!

This was one of the funniest piece of content I've seen in a long time. It was so accurate to the modern landscape.
- No one likes multiverses...they make the entire plot of most modern superhero movies pointless.
- The whole part about modern society lacking basic skills to maintain modern living standards without importing people in from foreign countries to keep the US from falling apart was just a great subplot.
- Didn't know who Kathleen was prior to this, glad to put a face to the crimes Disney commits against cultures they don't even represent. Pillaging and perverting foreign folklore and mythology is unacceptable. We as a society need to hold these bandits to a higher standard. Hopefully then we can get new original content that represents modern society.

- WissenswertesAt 34:52 you can hear the background music parody that of Terminator 2: Tag der Abrechnung (1991) and Kathleen Kennedy runs like the T-1000 after Eric Cartman.
- PatzerAt 34:30 Cartman is standing at an intersection and spots Kathleen Kennedy, who is chasing him. He starts running away from the intersection as she crosses the street. The next overhead shot shows him running to the intersection with Kennedy nowhere in sight.
- Zitate
Kathleen Kennedy (Alternate): Put a chick in it and make her lame and gay!
- Crazy CreditsThe opening title card is in the artwork and style of the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo.
