Rich housewife Karla Dodds (Denise Richards) hires a private jet to take her girlfriends on a weekend getaway. The plane crashes. Karla, Joli Symons, Sharell Bouvier, and Rebel Carron-Whitman (NeNe Leakes) somehow survive, but can't remember the crash. In reality, they have been set up by their husbands.

The premise is ridiculous and makes no sense. I can see this turning into a screwball farce. Maybe it's the forest. Maybe it's the bear. I keep thinking of Cocaine Bear. This needs to be Cocaine Bear or something equally ridiculous. Instead, the girls are mostly sitting around the crash site and the guys are sitting around the monitors. There isn't much of anything here.

Stupid so far. How in the WORLD would the bad guys who set up this crash KNOW where exactly the crash would be in order to set up the cameras?? Silly movie due to this alone. - and women who were just in a plane crash would be MUCH more banged up with dirty clothes, etc. After the ordeal. This flick is a disgrace to the rest of LMN ones which I enjoy weekly and whose plots are virtually all realistic and, in my opinion, both interesting and entertaining. One cannot also tell me that these women would normally be so low keyed, laughing, and joking around knowing they were pretty much in sh#* luck being stuck in a wooded area in the middle of " Jibbit".

To the person who left a negative review, let me say this... It's a LIFETIME MOVIE. What are you expecting?

Overall, I thought this was great for a lifetime movie (quite bad by regular movie standards, but those aren't the standards we're going by here). I really liked the new, experimental concept. Lifetime should make more comedic thriller movies, instead of the typical "evil nanny kidnaps kid and tries to kill mom" thing they usually do.

This movie knows it's ridiculous, and it leans into that. The dialogue is meant to be silly, as is the overall plot. The housewives are funny characters. It's all good fun!

I thought this was really cute and a Fun storyline! There's Some good humor in there with the guys and the gals. Being a middle-aged woman, I can relate to them lol and I love NeNe and Denise. Of course it's cheesy in spots (that's lifetime) and I honestly love it for that ;) The girls were super cute too with their outfits etc. Also there were both some touching moments and some marital issues some of us can relate to which led to some women empowering! I loved that. All in all it was an entertaining flick that my husband and I both enjoyed! I like all the characters, they all did a good job!!!

Uneven acting and direction in places, bit too much cliche shorthand to replace deeper character development, a plot hole or two, but so delightful in so many ways. Love the way the script twists and plays with viewer expectations, so instead of a typical ginned-up stressful narrative, it's leavened with humor, light and dark, unexpected twists. And common sense housewife solutions, and manages to produce suspense without stress, which more and more viewers seem to want these days. Instead of high anxiety and cathartic exhaustion, entertainment and satisfaction. Some good twists and a very satisfying conclusion. Denise Richards -- Wow. She carries this movie, with a note-perfect understated performance. More Denise Richards please. More from this writer too please.
