"'Mystery Island" was filmed for fifteen days in Panama, at the vacation location where "the Obamas stayed" which is the Villa Bonita Mansion, in Panama City (Playa Bonita). Stunning six bedroom villa with infinity pool, vaulted ceilings, and beautiful views of the boats crossing the canal.

This villa is situated on the edge of the rainforest on a small cliff above the Pacific Ocean in Playa Bonita. Inspired by the Panama Canal, with clean modern lines and a cozy home feel, one of the most eye-catching elements is the dramatic high ceilings, which in the main hall sit nearly 50 feet and 18 feet throughout the rest of the house. These high ceilings maintain a feeling of openness and freshness. The Master Suite offers over 1,500 square feet of interior space, two terraces and a private pool. The master bathroom, which includes an internal garden, is designed as a Water Temple, with the main shower taking the starring role in the middle of the room. Five bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. Each room has a unique architectural design, ranging from open-top showers, to mid-room bathtubs and custom-made furniture. Located just twenty minutes from downtown Panama City, and forty-five minutes from Panama City Tocumen International Airport (PTY) for commercial airlines, and five minutes from Panama Pacifico International Airport (BLB) for private jets.
