Good story, I like the story. The story was nice. Good direction. I like the direction. The direction was nice. Good music. I like the music. The music was nice. Good cinematography. I like the cinematography. The cinematography was nice. I have no more words to say about this movie, stop forcing me.

SURONGO primarily comes with 2 acts...an introduction of a greedy wife, Moyna; how she manupulates and abuses her husband, Masud for money. In the 2nd act, the titular & more interesting 'Surongo' parts begins and I hoped this would get more focus from the beginning on a back and forth manner. Technically Rafi's film shines in the major areas i.e. Cinematography, lighting, background scores (mostly). The adult contents could have been handled more skillfully rather than throwing some random intimate scenes on the screen. Nisho & Shahiduzzaman Salim delivered best with their respective well written character arc. Though Toma Mirza did a competent job with her role, specially in dialogue delivery but with her "glamorous look" she felt kind of miscast for this part of a rural, deceitful femme fatale at times. The best part of the movie was its ending that will surely satisfy most of the moviegoers.

Don't watch it as a Bangladeshi movie. It's attention to details will please you.

At the very least, you will not be disappointed that's for sure.

I watched an unique & awesome Bangla specially Bangladeshi Movie after a long time. The plot & acting is totaly outstanding. I think every Bengali Movie lover should watch this movie to realise that we are not so far from others industry.

Bangladeshi Movies are having a bad time but this was absolutely a Blockbuster. I just love Afran Nisho's performance. Toma was good though. But Shahiduzzaman Selim's performance was La-Zawab.

I really felt the message through the movie.

In a word, amazing. Afran Nisho's first movie is "Surongo". I saw the movie on the first day of its release. The audience was overflowing. All the audience were very happy after watching the movie. I like the movie very much. Thanks to director Raihan Rafi Bhai for giving such a beautiful movie. Everyone's performance in the movie was excellent. Shahiduzzaman Selim's screen play was less but his acting was the best along with his comedy dialogues.

In one word "Surongo" is one of the best movies of Eid-ul-Azha. "Surongo" is Raihan Rafi's best work. Everyone Watch the movie "Surongo" without delay.

Despite the hype and marketing, this film falls short due to its poorly written script and amateurish execution, resulting in a disappointing experience. And if you're an evolved film audience, you can easily guess the main plot-twist. To me it misrepresents itself as a suspenseful thriller, but is actually a clichéd tragic love-story with no originality. With many tonal shifts, the central message revolves around the dominance of money and its role in love and tragedy like how women chooses money & sex over love, a theme seen countless times before in many films across languages. Afran Nisho delivers a commendable performance, yet it is not his best if one has seen his Natoks and TV performances. There's this chance this coming decade is going to be his, to truly shine, he should collaborate with talented directors instead of pseudos like this. Bangladesh possesses promising emerging filmmakers who deserve opportunities in commercial cinema.

Excellent story with real life experience, nisho is awesome with any character. He is bangladeshi actors who can act anything as story wants. The director raihan rafi was excellent in previous movies and he did excellent as well.

Any bangladeshi should go for the movie and watch for nice movie experience. Who wants to watch must watch within this eid season while the cineplex is housefull because lots of people with help you to have fun together. Toma mirza did excellent job in This movie too. Always the supportive characters help in every scene, raihan rafi arranged good bgm in this movie. Best wishes.

For the mass audience, Surongo is a great movie. Thrill, suspense, comedy, mystery it's all there. It's definitely not a family friendly film as it contains adult stuff and scenes (literally). Nisho nailed it as Masud. Toma Mirza's acting was somewhat believable but could have been realistic. Songs were good enough. The ending was epic too. Overall it's enjoyable and a great thriller.

As for the cinephiles out there, If you've seen enough thriller and mystery centric movies you'll definitely be able to predict what'll happen next during almost every scene of this movie (except for a SPECIFIC PART of the ending).

One word to say must watch movie no doubt with that...🖤 1st half was slow but 2nd half it gives me real goosebumps here i must ensure that the cinematography was awesome here. The color the gradient is like as exactly the real life experience in any subject. As we see the character they build up with so much time is their utmost trying to fulfill their character goal is more satisfying. I think surongo is the first movie as it will be a milestone in the field of bengali cinema. If the dialogues of the film were written more properly, it would have been more beautiful in the cinema history. Best wishes for surongo.if anyone rating this movie under 7 then it will be envy or jealousy of fan who are not fan of this movie and the character or the well wishers.

Pretty good movie, better than most Bangla movies for sure. Funny at moments. All the actors did a good job, especially Afran Nisho, he did great. The makeup artist did a fine job as well. We could see Masud age throughout the movie, mostly due to stress lol. The plot seemed heavily inspired from The Shawshank Redemption (1994), but brought in a few new twists. Not the biggest fan of the ending tho. It was a very generic & predictable Bangla movie ending.

The cinematography and direction is commendable. Some of the songs were nice too. Hope to see more work like this from the Bangla movie industry.

'Suranga' is undoubtedly Raihan Rafi's best work. The technical aspects are almost perfect, the acting is extremely good, the direction is excellent - and this makes 'Surang' an extremely engaging and entertaining movie.

Afran Nisho made his film debut with 'Suranga'. He has condensed all his years of experience in drama, OTT content in this movie. In the role of 'Masood', he made the audience laugh, cry and clap their hands for him. Why a naive electrician was forced to dig a tunnel and steal money - Nisho has established this fact in the movie with his craft. Nisho's physical acting, small expressions, dialogue delivery - everything was top notch.

This movie is the best among all the movies I have seen because this movie has some feeling which I can never express in words but in one word this movie is amazing this movie has everything like Love hate etc. Arfan Nishu Bhai's acting is on another level as always. I will always try my best to always give this beautiful movie to my brother. You go on like this, we're I'm with you Brother, never despair because despair leads people to decline. You did the right thing at the right time. I love all your decision thinking and I love each other's styles want to be like Brother, in one word, you are incomparable.

Rafi's Thrilling 'Ride'... Breathtaking 'Tunnel'...

I wanted to watch all the movies this Eid. But I don't know how much it will be possible in the end with various engagements. However, I was impressed by Rafi's 'tunnel'. The story is about the traditional sin of greed and the consequences of defeat by sin. But the classic story is made unique by the excellent production and screenplay. Great location, sets, art direction... BGM treatment is superb. And acting ... Afran Nisho is a proven actor, he has nothing more to prove himself. But still his debut on the big screen is great! He blew away all the whispers, doubts and doubts surrounding his debut. Undoubtedly a royal arrival.

Tama Mirza is really amazing. He broke his familiar pattern and turned into another skill. This Tama will go far.

And Shahiduzzaman Salim is the batsman who hit the last ball six in the cameo innings to win the team. Awesome!

Nazim Uddoula is great in screenplay. Scenery, songs, sudsing. But the dialogue sometimes seems repetitive. Could have been more focused here. And it's a personal feeling, even if the item song is not possible in this movie, it would not have reduced its appeal.

But these are just things to avoid. Because, a compact package tunnels for an amazing thrill ride. Hats off to Rayhan Rafi and the entire team.

I stopped watching Bangla movies ten years ago due to their lackluster stories. While some films had good plots, they failed to live up to the hype. However, after watching this masterpiece by Rayhan Rafi, I can't help but appreciate his work. If Rayhan Rafi keeps making movies like these, Bengali movies will be widely recognized. I don't need to say much about Arfan Nisho; we all know he is a tremendous actor. But Toma Mirza (I learned her name after watching this movie) made the plot intriguing. I believe she is the perfect choice for the role of the complex character "Moyna," portraying her flawlessly.

Superb entertaining movie and also superb acting by arfan nisho. An entertaining, realistic story. Amazing camera work overall likeable movie. Arfan Nisho's acting can't be compared to anyone else's acting. Nisho is the boss of acting. It was also the best work of director Raihan Rafi's career. All the aspects of this story are presented very beautifully and fluently. I hope he will give us more good works in future. Everyone who played the other characters did their best. Mustafa Manwar, Tama Mirza, Sahiduzzaman Salim thank you all. Hope they act regularly in movies. It was a very good job. Everyone should watch this movie.

There were a lot of hype around this one. It defintely did not dissapoint but it was not a movie which people would want to re-watch or talk about after 6 months. The story telling was okay, but in my opinion, it could have been much better. Nisho did well, but its not his finest performance for sure. Toma and Mostafa Monowar were better. Didn't like the character Apple Khan, his imposed Chittagonian accent seemed unnecessary. An actor like Shahiduzzaman Selim should've been utilized more effeciently. Background sound was very loud and I had a hard time understanding the dialogues. Now some good parts of the movie, color grading was top notch, cinematography was amazing and location fits the story perfectly. There weren't too many unncecessary scences. And I don't think it was a "18+" movie. There were some intimate scences, but people who will watch this movie most of them have seen way worse.

Very Impressive performance by Afnan Nisho, Toma Mirza, Shohiduzzaman Selim and others. Great direction by Raihan Rafi. There are Love, Emotion, Romance etc. Very good songs. Item songs done Nusrat Fariha Mazhar was good. Cinematography very impressive. Color grading, Editing all were very Impressive. Award winning performance by Superstar Afnan Nisho. Toma Mirza as Moyna was very beautiful and charming. Sound system was good too. First half was less impressive, but Second haf was the best. Nail biting performance by actors. Shahiduzzaman comic timing was very good. Overall a good movie for Eid Festivals. A Family movie.

Nisho is best in his acting. His delivery is really awesome. The movie and the story is masterpiece I must say. Awesome movie. The character made by Rafi is really brilliant. Before this movie Rafi made few other brilliant movie and people are accepted. Arfan Nisho is from Tv Star but in ott platform he doing some massive work and brilliant. In OTT web film like Morichika, Redrum, Sindicate, Kaiser Pynorjormmo series wes massive success in his career. Besides he played lot's of TV commercial and drama which really good. Surongo is brilliant work. One of the best acting I have seen. I thanks both Rafi and Nisho for their brilliant collaboration and big success.

If you watch, then you can justify yourself. Raihan rafi is very con man. The plot was simple but cinematography was all time great! How a simple working person can do more for his wife's desire. How he got dumb and how he took revenge , in which way the lead character grown up was goosebumps! Literally in Bangladesh a recent movie named Hawa was very trending person to person but the more people rumors the more reviews take. There was no basement of the story tough acting was great that's all. In the other hand Surongo is perfect for movie lovers basically who loves twists and thrills.
