Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi

Vyjayanthi IPS is a decorated police officer whose son Arjun has turned into a gangster who is also an autocrat in Vizag. This despite having cleared the IPS exam with 6th rank. The mother has publicly denounced her son and is also the prime witness in his first murder case though he has committed hundreds of murders after that. As Arjun runs his own parallel government, the new police commissioner doesn't appreciate Arjun's ways. The criminals have been reduced but not the crime and the biggest of them all, Pathan sets his eyes on Vyjayanthi for getting him convicted with a death sentence. What happens when Pathan escapes and wrecks havoc in the city? Will Arjun be able to save his mother, forms rest of the story.

Pradeep Chilukuri has come up with an extremely dated story which is laced with lazy dialogues that doesn't allow it's lead star to shine in the key sequences. The film's best thing is Sohail Khan's intro fight as Pathan and that's about it. Right after this scene, the film turns into a regular run on the mill Telugu masala film with a devoted son doing everything to protect his mother while also seeking her approval. The villains including Sohail Khan's Pathan gets turned into mere caricatures. It's the usual linear narrative with a flashback driven action film which is all about bloodshed and loud dialogues. Probably this film belonged in the 90s only and now it only looked unbearably outdated.

It's a commercial, average drama where the writers seem to have taken inspiration from Ram Charan's movie "Nayak." The story follows a hero who is preparing for IPS exams, but due to an emotional connection, he ends up committing a murder. After the incident, people in a particular area start seeing him as a god-like figure. He then begins to protect them from local goons.

The writer adds a mother sentiment and an unexpected twist in the climax to make the story more emotional. However, there's nothing new or unique in the plot. It's a one-time watchable film.

Today (19 April 2025) I watched the Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi movie. It's full mass action and powered pack performance of Super hero Kalyan Ram gaaru and Lady Super star Madam Vijaya Shanti Gaaru. Through out the film I was literally enjoyed a lot and feel very emotional of the mother and son affection showed. Simply superb and watchable movie. I cannot able to stop my tears when emotional scenes comes between Kalyan Ram gaaru and Vijaya Shanti Gaaru. Every one please go and watch the movie in theatres. I am sure that all of you will enjoy a lot throughout the movie. All the very best to movie team. Good job guys. Heartily congratulations for the the successful movie that you all brought for us.
