Handlung

Xiao Yan, a mercenary, gains flying skills and a map in Magical Beast Mountains. Chased by mercenaries, he saves Yunzhi from the Lion King. After challenges, they defeat the Lion King. Yunzhi leaves, Xiao Yan heads to Snake tribe's desert.

It tells the story of the male protagonist Xiao Yan who comes to the Magical Beast Mountains as a mercenary and unexpectedly gains flying skills and a damaged map. Later, Xiao Yan is chased down by other mercenaries. While evading them, Xiao Yan accidentally encounters the fight between Fighting Spirit Realm's Yunzhi and Amethyst-winged Lion King. Yunzhi is defeated by the Lion King, and Xiao Yan saves Yunzhi. After a series of twists and turns, the two decide to challenge the Lion King again. They split up to take action and eventually succeed. Yunzhi secretly leaves, and Xiao Yan also decides to leave the Magical Beast Mountains and heads to the Snake tribe's desert.—iQIYI

Xiao Yan (Played by Ma Boqian), the third young master of one of the three great families in Utan City, became the laughingstock of many because of his low Dou Qi level. After being humiliated by the breaking off of his engagement with Nalan Yanran (Played by Jin Yangyang), a senior disciple of the Yunlan Sect, Xiao Yan couldn't bear the disgrace and thus made a pact with Yanran, stipulating that they would settle their engagement by a martial art competition after three years. To raise his Dou Qi level, Xiao Yan traveled to the Mountain of Magic Beast where he met a little Physician Immortal (Played by Xu Yi), and was caught up in a dispute with the Wolf Head Corps. While hiding from the Wolf Head Corps, Xiao Yan accidentally witnessed a battle between Yun Zhi (Played by Hu Jing), who reached the Dou Huang Level, and the Purple Crystal Winged Lion King. Xiao saved Yun Zhi when she was defeated by the Lion King, and two of them decided to challenge the Lion King again after some twists and turns. They split up and finally succeeded. Yun Zhi then secretly left, and Xiao Yan also decided to leave the Mountain Magic Beast for the Dessert of Snake Clan.—YOUKU MOVIE
