Manamey

Boring and predictable.

The story begins with an intriguing premise but quickly devolves into a predictable, routine, and rather dull affair. The screenplay is quite flat, offering a few laughs here and there, but is often clumsy. The director, it seems, brought no personal touch to the project.

Sharvanand looks quite dashing and his performance is commendable. Kriti Shetty also looks fine and takes on a different role compared to her previous films, showing some improvement in her acting. The rest of the cast does exactly what's expected of them.

The music is uninspired, though the production values are impressively high. The cinematography is excellent, but the editing leaves much to be desired. Overall, not worth the watch.

Cringe Fest

Movies like this shows the true value of movies like 'Hi Nanna', Director and producer seems to have more interest on foreign locations and grand sets instead of working on a good script, after the premise is set not even a single scene is able to make the plot interesting, further the movie went worse the script had become.

I don't want to judge the acting skills of a two year old but the he is definitely not suitable for the role cause the expressions he gave are not at all syncing with scenes, I will blame the one who casted the kid though. Mentioning this because of two reasons, one he is the main Center of the plot and two I have read after the release of Hi Nanna someone asked why can't they cast someone from Telugu states instead of going for a kid from north states. It's a lot difficult to explain to a kid on what is happening in a set and what should his expressions be.

Instead of a two year old they should have make the age of the kid either less than 1 year or more than 5 years, this way either the expressions doesn't matter or get the expression they need from the right child actor.

Disappointing and Illogical Storyline

Manamey (2025) is a complete letdown. The story lacks logic, and the so-called romance is meaningless. The hero sleeps with another woman, yet the heroine (Krithi Shetty) remains clueless, making the entire love story pointless. Krithi's fiancé is made to look like a fool, and somehow, the film ends happily just because the lead pair hugs. The comedy is unbearable, forced, and not funny at all. The only emotional moment was the child actor's performance, who clearly put in a lot of effort. Sadly, Sharwanand's career seems stuck in tier-3 hero roles now. Weak writing, predictable screenplay, and zero emotional depth make this film a disaster. Not worth watching at all.

??

Manamey Movie Biggest plus is Hesham Abdul Wahab .the movie doesn't have a emotional connection. The first 20 minutes is good& rest is flat .The kid is also minus for the movie.poor VFX in the phone conversation, car chase scene is feels like a animated, movie visuals are good.

PLOT : Vikram is a happy-go-lucky youth who is doing his masters in the UK. One day, he gets a call from India that Anurag, his close friend and classmate from London, has passed away in a fire accident along with his wife. Vikram heads to India and is forced to become the caretaker of Anurag's son Kushi. The same happens with Subhadra, a close friend of Kushi's mother. The young couple becomes the guardians of the two-year-old in the UK and starts a new life. While Vikram is a very careless person, Subhadra adores Kushi. How this unique couple sheds their differences and take care of the young child is the basic story of the film.

Superb Movie

Sharwa and kriti rocks in their acting. First half is excellent continues with convincing second half. It is one of the good movie of sharwa sir's recent movies. In my opinion worth to watch this movie. Comic timing of sharwa's is excellent. Some twists are there which does not shown in the trailer.

But second half is sometimes lag but it is not so much worry.

As usual Sharwa's timing is superb and nice and krithi Shetty is looks are amazing.

This movie is completely family entertaining and joyful.

Variations in sharwa in this movie is soo good and emotions in this movie is carried so well. We can able to krithi in new role.

A feel good family movie.

*Manamey* (**2024**), directed by Sriram Adittya, takes a lighthearted approach to storytelling. The protagonist, Vikram (Sharwanand), is a classic man-child who embraces responsibility after a tragic event. The film's vibrant colors and Hesham Abdul Wahab's inspiring soundtrack add to its breezy, seamless quality. While some scenes miss the mark, *Manamey* remains a delightful blend of romance, comedy, and emotion. 🎬🌟. Their quirky dialogues add charm. However, the film's pacing could be tighter, and some subplots feel underdeveloped. Overall, it's a feel-good watch with room for improvement.

Best family movie of 2024

This movie is a "Feel good" movie. Don't believe negative reviews, just give it a try. This movie gives a feeling of how our parents miss us when we are in abroad. This movie shows us the challenges faced by young people to raise a kid in a funny way. Funny and Emotional family movie with beautiful foreign locations. This movie portrays about how our easy go hero becomes a family man. What are the challanges faced by a man without proper job to raise a small kid. Sharwanand and krithi Shetty nailed their performances, they really feel like a couple. I emotionally connected with this movie. All the characters in this movie are exceptional. Villain character feels flat by the end of the movie. Except that everything is good. 😊
