Lucky Man

I enjoyed the movie by watching it alone in my room. I loved every scene and sequence. I appreciate the direction for the powerful writing and connecting each scene in to the relevant portion. Best movie of the year, yogibabu and his wife's character nailed the scenes. Never seen this much of beautiful film directed in his first movie. The character of the police guy did well in his portion and Yogi Babu's friend supported the whole character to the hero. I wish Yogi Babu sir would do and support this sort of direction and movies. I appreciate the whole crew's upcoming projects. Love from Pratap Johnson.

In the middle of so many video game type gun fight movies, these kind of movies are keeping the budding directors with wonderful script. My big salute for selecting Raichal Rabecca as the heroine. She gave the same natural performance as in Good Night. Yogi Babu, Abdool Lee really showed the material they are made up of. Veera Bahu as the negative person, showed his class without raising his voice or weapons. This is a kind of movie that one can watch with his kids and grand parents without any hesitation. Yogi Babu's story selection needs to be applauded. Such a heart warming movie. Movies like these keep our hopes high about having a story as winner in the middle of VFX dramas.

Felt like I watched a very sensible tamil movie after a long long time, living abroad and watching Tamil movies on Netflix and prime video , tamil movies had started to loose their essence , it was and unfulfilling feeling every time I watched a movie , there always seemed to be like something was missing, at first I was hesitant to watch this movie as I hadn't heard anyone mention it, I went ahead and played the trailer ,it kindled some curiosity and then once I started watching it, I just couldn't stop it, I watched a movie called Khushi yesterday and felt why they had undergone the struggle of converting it into multiple languages when the story was so poor, honestly it's movies such as these that need to be converted into multiple languages . The film beautifully displays the everyday struggle of a family with lower income it was nice to see yogi babu as a father a husband, an employee as well as a comedian maintaining the humour throughout the movie. Yogi baby has developed as an wonderful actor over the years. Watching him starting to choose characters such as these ones makes it easy to predict that he is going to become on of the most applauded actors in Tamil cinema. Wish him all the best for his success.

I started to watch with low hopes and it ended as surprisingly good watch. I would recommend the same, lower your expectation, you will get surprised. All the characters are written very well and done decent job.

The story was simple and there is no lagging moment. Sometimes the making was bit amateur, but not so bad. This one is the real OTT material.

The luck factor was used only in the intro scenes after that nothing. Even the real estate moments are more like filling gaps, and adds more logical holes. Towards end it makes lot of loose ends and SUBAM.

One time watchable to kill the time.

Balaji Venugopal has proven his mettle as an excellent feel-good filmmaker in Lucky Man. His sense of humour is extra-ordinary. The effective quirks takes the narrative to exciting new places just like how Yogi Babu takes his car to new parking spots 😏

Sean Roldan's pleasant songs linger in ur ears even after u leave the theater. Yogi Babu and Veera excel in wonderfully written roles. Abdool and Amit Bhargav do very well in important supporting roles. Special mention to the cinematographer for providing excellently lit visuals.

Overall, it's worth our time and money. Don't miss this superb feel good movie.
