I got into this show in the 2nd half of 2020 when I was trying to look for Hindi-language media to complement what I was learning through textbooks and a variety of methods. I had seen memes of this show beforehand but no actual episodes; I decided to click on one just for fun and I was instantly hooked.
For like the entire summer that year, I was watching multiple episodes a day, laughing hysterically, and having a great time. Most of the episodes have English subtitles, so I tended to read those more but as I got better at Hindi I was able to turn them off, understand the characters and this way get listening practice. Even though they're all voiced by the same guy, each of the main characters is supposedly from like a different part of India, which is good for tuning your ears to different local accents/varieties of the language.
Unfortunately, that's where the utility kind of stops. For native Hindi speakers, this show doesn't really teach anything and is arguably a waste of time. The characters spend each episode doing a bunch of dumb stuff and while some may find it entertaining, it doesn't really teach any life lessons, skills or stuff like reading and math or science. For foreign children, I would say it's actually something to *avoid* - the English/French/Spanish subtitles have atrocious grammar and they're very-obviously Google Translated. Watching too much of this could disrupt their language ability.
So, I would say, if you're looking to practice'learn Hindi then you can check this out; otherwise, especially if you're a young non-Indian kid, then stay away. If you're an edgy teen who likes it for the memes, go do something useful.

One Word-Absolute Garbage
Same Story,Same Concept And Same Uncomedy.
Story - 2/10 I dont know how people even be relating to these
Animation - 2/10. Come on India we can do better than this, absolutely garbage animation.
Voice Acting and Dialogues - 1/10. Well u know why our country's lacking behind this much? Well because children these days actually enjoy these dad jokes. I mean I respect others and I think I wud also enjoy if this was the best I've ever watched. But no thanks, I've watched some great Anime like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, Naruto , DBZ, Parasyte-The Maxim and some others. My heart cries if I watch a glimpse of this show. Ban it's creators once and for all, dont turn ur kids into disgusting 'Indian Weebs' it wud be way way way worse than Weebs we're used to.

I'm surprised that this show has so many negative reviews. I think it's pretty funny, and although the animation is not up to Hollywood standards, it is pretty good. The violence and general style makes me think more of the old Looney Tunes than anything you would see in an American children's show today. It is not like American shows that have an educational lesson built in, this is just for entertainment, and I find that it could entertain both kids and easily pleased adults like myself.
I find it especially funny that Motu and Patlu are usually depicted as good people who try to help everyone out, but whenever they get a little bit of power, they always use it to do harm - like beating up people they have grudges against in the Self Defense episode. Again, it reminds me of the Looney Tunes - sometimes Bugs or Daffy would fight back against someone who wronged them, but sometimes they would just go looking for trouble, and yet you still root for them either way.
