Sameer and Suman are a newlywed couple living in a Mumbai flat. Both are living a pleasant life. Due to one incident, Sameer suspects Suman of having an illicit relationship with her Brother-in-law, Rakesh.

Sameer and Suman are a newlywed couple living in a Mumbai flat. Both are content with their marriage and live a pleasant life. Sameer awakens one night to find Suman sensually repeating the name of her brother-in-law, Rakesh, in her sleep. Sameer suspects Suman of having an illicit relationship with Rakesh. Sameer becomes dissatisfied as a result of his mistrust. He believes that his wife is a promiscuous lady. Rakesh had given Suman a costly carpet as a wedding gift. Suman had a soft spot for that carpet. Sameer requests that Suman sell the carpet to someone. They place ads in the newspaper to sell that carpet. Next Morning, Sameer receives a call from Anthony Gonsalves, who is interested in purchasing their carpet. Sameer invites Anthony to his house to check the carpet. But then he receives a call from his office, informing her that he must go to the office due to an emergency. Anthony arrives to see the carpet in his absence. Suman invites Anthony to come inside and wait for Sameer to return. Anthony is a psychopathic criminal. When he sees Suman's body, he becomes enraged and attacks her. He intends to rape her.
