This scene from BETRAYAL IN BROOKLYN features the "first date" of Professor Richie Bucceroni (who's still mourning his wife and child, killed when pushed into the path of a subway train) and Dr. Candy Dyer, his assistant at the college where he teaches. Touching and violent, it's an introduction to the two main characters of the screenplay by W.J.Reeves. Reeves based the script on his book by the same name. Bucceroni needs to find his family's killer. The film is a four minute clip lifted from the screenplay. It was filmed in Harlem on Malcolm X Blvd just after Hurricane Sandy hit New York City in 2012. The filmmakers are raising the money to continue producing the entire film.
