Raanti

Inspired from Ugramm/Salaar, what it lacks is the good performances. Sharad Kelkar the main lead is so bad, the way he says the dialogues feels like he is reading them not saying them (haven't got out of his dubbing era I guess *which he was good at). Sanjay Narvekar looked good in trailer but he did it too much in the movie. The only good performance was of Santosh Juvekar he was good, but sometimes getting surrounded by bad performances makes your performance look okish. Also they could've used the Chhaya Kadam's character more in the story.

The thing which got me excited to watch this was the brutal action which was good but again Sharad Kelkar was not made for this role.

The editing was horrible they added those TV serial effects in between character introductions and action scenes. The bgm was a joke. It was a headache to sit though this.

The movie *Raanti* presents a gripping tale of revenge, bloodshed, and family conflict. However, the balance between action and emotion seems to falter. Some characters, like Bala played by Santosh Juvekar and Sada Rane portrayed by Sanjay Narvekar, leave a lasting impression with their powerful dialogues and commanding body language. Sharad Kelkar as Vishnu Angre, the central character, delivers a magnetic performance but tends to overindulge in dramatic dialogue delivery.

The movie starts on a strong note, with every character's connection to their family and the motive for revenge being skillfully unveiled. The audience remains engaged until the intermission. The action sequences choreographed by Ejaz Gulab deserve special mention for their impact. Additionally, Sethu Sriram's cinematography, Amar Mohile's background score, and Prashant Rane's art direction add substantial weight to the film.

While the technical aspects are commendable, the story could have been more impactful if some characters were developed with greater depth. Performances by Chhaya Kadam, Akshaya Gurav, and Sushant Shelar are notable but lack sufficient screen time due to the limitations of the screenplay.

Despite its shortcomings, *Raanti* offers a visually rich cinematic experience. Fans of intense revenge sagas and gritty violence will find it particularly appealing. The film seems to draw inspiration from the success of similar blood-soaked stories in South Indian cinema, making one wonder if it aims to cater to a similar audience among Marathi viewers.

I will get straight to the point explaining the true reason behind the headline (THIRD CLASS FILM).

This movie has all the best of the best Actors in it but but but.... Story Wise, Screenplay Wise, Direction Wise this would be the most Absurd and horrible film I have ever seen in my life.

There is literally No Story to this film but just violence everywhere in every scene that too unnecessarily.

Everytime the hero appears on the screen in the background you will hear horrific screaming of word "Raanti"

Heroine literally had no job being in this film as there was literally nothing related to her. Could have cast an animal and that too would have worked as hero tries to save his dearly pet animal instead of heroine.

I believe filmmakers of this film were just willing to spread violence and rage in the society thru this film as it will definitely impress the so called "Gaavthi" people.

Or may be this film was made for the purpose of tax evasion as to turn black money into white by showing losses incurred due to this film.

Dont watch this disgust even for free.
