I had stopped watching novels since years ago and I am so happy that my girlfriend introduced me to this one for a variety of reasons. I believe every single person of the cast was perfectly picked; the acting is superb. The characters and the script are very funny. I was surprised to see low stars here on IMDb, but I can understand why...it is not a regular "latino novel" and not everyone is going to like it. This is better. Why? It really has story value, the narrative is excellent and I quote "people do not think slavery still exist, but it is happening; human trafficking." Another great characteristic is that women are not full of make up when they wake up like in other novels, they have a more naturalistic look. The mise-en-scene is very accurate. Cinematography is perfectly fine. I love the cultural info and value conveyed in this novel too. That is why I give it a 10 out of 10.

Salve Jorge is a Brazilian telenovela that truly stands out for its phenomenal acting. Each character seems perfectly cast, and the performances are consistently impressive throughout the show. What makes this novela unique is how it tackles the very real and urgent issue of human trafficking. Although the story is fictional, the way it portrays the methods used to deceive and exploit victims is disturbingly accurate, shedding light on a crime that is all too real.

While the series follows the traditional telenovela format-meaning it can feel lengthy at times with some filler scenes-it's absolutely worth watching. If you plan to binge, be prepared for a long ride, but trust me: the suspense will keep you glued to the screen.

I'm not usually a fan of novelas, but this one caught my attention because of its important message and the way it raises awareness about the dangers of human trafficking. What really keeps things exciting is how the various storylines and characters intertwine, creating a dynamic investigative drama with plenty of twists, action, and even moments of fun.

Salve Jorge is the only telenovela I've watched from start to finish, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a show that's both entertaining and meaningful.
