If you're after an easy to watch psychological thriller miniseries that keeps you watching but isn't too disturbing, this fits the bill just fine. Some decent acting by the two female leads Jo Joyner (Laura) and Rachel Shenton (Emily), and an impressive performance by Laura's little daughter Eliza (Romi Hyland- Rylands). Duncan Pow also does a good job being the reliable husband who you feel a soft spot for. A basic enough premise, but based in a familiar cosy setting.
However, there are some basic plot flaws which make make whole thing a little unbelievable. For example, it's highly unlikely a child's life would be ruined completely by the historical events in this movie. As such, the extreme measures taken by Laura and her mother back in the day seem a bit ridiculous.
Nonetheless, this show packs a nice compact 4 episodes which are decent enough. Maybe it's not a must see, but it's an enjoyable ride.

Another version of the psycho inserting themselves into somebody's life for some reason and putting them through hell for some reason whilst pretending to be their friend. Unrealistic, but still compelling watching. Camera work on close-ups is very wobbly and could make you nauseous. Performances are adequate, apart from when the teacher walk towards the villain as if she is going to kill her and then just asks her to pass something on to her friend; laughably bad. Where does this woman who is a nanny have the money to have Spa days, nights out, hotel breaks and never actually be working? Suspend logical thinking and you may enjoy it.
Ignore the negative comments if you enjoy a drama that's easy watching and not bothered if it's a little cheesy.
Actually enjoyed watching this most of the time, had to turn off at one point as it was stressing me out as the character Emily is so awful to Laura, but I have just managed to finish watching the last two episodes and was a little thrilling and I wanted to tell Laura to 'come on, really'.
It's not the best drama, but was something good to watch this week and Channel 5 aren't normally the best for there dramas but this was much better than they normally have on the telly these days.

For Her Sins turned out better than I was expecting given C5's sometimes patchy drama record. The premise was familiar but it's well made and paced and nicely directed with good production values.
The story follows lawyer and mother of two, Laura, who seems to have the perfect life but in reality, is struggling with parenthood, when too good to be true Emily works her way into her life...
Decent cast all round with Rachel Shenton as Emily absolutely stealing the show. Script was a bit schlock at times and so were the flashbacks, but if you're a fan of the genre definitely give it a go, it does what it says on the tin.

For Her Sins is a channel 5 suspense mystery thriller drama starring (Eastenders) star Jo Joyner and (Hollyoaks) star Rachel Shenton as the leading actresses.
Featuring 4 episodes.
So after scanning through My 5 for things to watch I thought this looks pretty decent and apparently my mum had watched it in the past and said it was good.
The first episode was really good, if you start watching it and think 'oh no I'm not going to like this give it chance as I'm telling you now it does get better throughout.
I was definitely hooked. Can't quite believe the negativity it's actually good for a channel 5 drama.
The storyline is good it keeps you on the edge of your seat lots of twist and turns and is entertaining to watch.
It's an easy watch mystery thriller drama you don't have to really concentrate.
I was impressed with the acting the two leading actresses were good made it very believable. Now this is a drama that Jo Joyner is good in (fact one of her best) It's well better than Ripped Tide.
Least she is better actress than some of these soap stars who are trying to make it such as Michelle keegan who is definitely over rated.
Joy Joyner deserves more recognition than Michelle keegan that's for sure.
Overall it was a good 4 part drama and was impressed. Really enjoyed it.
A word of advice don't go by the negative comments/ score you don't know till you watch it yourself.
So if you like easy watching programs like Midsummer murders, The Catch, The flood then this is right up your street.
Sit back and watch FOR HER SINS which streaming on MY 5 Right now.
You will be surprised just how good it is !!!
That's why it's a 7/7.
Featuring 4 episodes.
