Rubble & Crew

So as I've said I like the original show PAW Patrol but this show has everything bad about modern PAW Patrol in it cranked up to 10 now the only reason it was made is because Corus wanted some of the cash PAW Patrol gets but TVOntario and GURU didn't want to sell because competitor so they decided to make their own show and the human characters are dumber than PAW Patrol like the mayor in this show forgot to build a bridge like how do you forget to build a bridge? Now will I watch this show no the 2 episodes I've seen makes me want to put PAW Patrol on and forget this piece of garbage exist. Now if I were you put on PAW Patrol or even Dora because this show is just a sad attempt for Corus to make money.

This is actually really better than PAW Patrol! I give this 10/10, but Paw Patrol is 6.2/10, also they give all characters chances to shine, but PAW Patrol doesn't give Zuma and Rocky much screentime. Also we got Rubble's family, which is cool, and one of them actually appears in two PAW Patrol episodes! I recommend this for construction-loving children who have like/loved PAW Patrol. Also for the person saying this is a ripoff to Pupstruction, um? Pupstruction came out on June 14, 2023 and Rubble and Crew came out on February 3, 2023. Voice acting is great, everyone gets moments, the backrounds are really good for a kid's show.

This is a terrible show - the adults here are even dumber than on PAW Patrol (dependent on a pup family to build everything - it was OK on PAW Patrol because they're rescue dogs, some of who would actually do this in real life much of the time), it's almost all bulldogs (stereotyping YET again just like the main series), it rips off PAW Patrol's own characters as Mayor Greatway and her duck are basically ripoffs of Mayor Goodway and Chickaletta, Speed Meister is a bad ripoff of Mayor Humdinger, Farmer Zoe is a ripoff of Farmer Yumi, it's incredibly boring, and the CGI animation is poor trying to adapt the movie designs on a TV budget (because they can't use the regular PAW Patrol designs as TVOntario and GURU animation own the main show's rights) and it's basically only made because Nick Jr. Is desperate for programming being so dependent on PAW Patrol, and because Corus in Canada has to lease PAW Patrol in Canada on Treehouse due to TVOntario owning the show - this show is basically for Treehouse.

And since it's basically focused on construction - that will limit this show's lifespan, most likely only 2-3 seasons, as they'll run dry fast..

Not to mention it was only made because Disney had Pupstruction coming - a far superior show which does not stereotype and does a better job with construction and has decent music.

With Paw Patrol still going strong, spin-offs were going to be inevitable, and with Rubble being a fan favorite, he gets to have the first spin-off.

In this show, Rubble has teamed up with his family, including his Auntie Crane, Grandpa Gravel, and cousins Wheeler, Charger, Mix, and Motor, when they are called to Builder Cove by Mayor Greatway, the sister of Mayor Goodway. There, the family goes on to help the people of Builder Cove, from building new buildings to solving problems that occur.

This spin-off takes the formula for PAW Patrol, but instead of rescues, superheroes, and other gimmicks meant to serve as ways to make new toys, this show focuses on construction (for now, but who knows when it will get gimmicks of its own). Episode not only have stories where the crew helps someone in Builder Cove by building something (be it a bigger shop or a new shop), but also, there are stories where the pups have a problem to solve, and they use their construction skills to find a solution (or as Rubble calls it, a construction solution), which helps keep things fresh as well as teach problem solving skills.

However, it loses a star due to how some of the new characters are similar to characters on Paw Patrol (Mayor Greatway is close to her sister, even having a pet duck named Mr. Ducky-Doo to serve as her Chickeletta, and Speed Meister, a recurring antagonist of the series, can be seen as the show's version of Paw Patrol's Mayor Humdinger), but this is a great spin-off Paw Patrol fans young and old will enjoy.

Yes it's not exactly high art but my kids love it and have been watching it more than its bigger more famous brother. I'd say it's a worthy addition to the PPEU (Paw Patrol Extended Universe). The pups are super cute and the storylines are wholesome and entertaining, plus the theme tune is incredibly catchy. Our favourite pup is Wheeler, although we're not sure why he isn't a bulldog like the others! Love the fact that side characters pop up throughout the series, for example Truffles the pig. Wheeler's friendship with Truffles has been hilarious to watch. I have only seen the UK version but the voice acting is great with the exception of some annoying catchphrases! The pups actually sound like little kids, and personally I much prefer that to casting adults. Lots of character and heart. Overall, a great little show that I'm sure will just get better and better as the characters continue to develop.
