I LOVE a good teenage slasher and this hit all the marks! It felt like a throwback to the 90's classics (think Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer etc.) which I'm very nostalgic for. The lead actress is great as the moody teenage daughter, tortured by her peers, and her friend Reilly is a great balance to Parkers character, being the bubbly and chatty bestie. Now, without giving any spoilers, I need to see what happens next...the look on Parkers face is too ominous not to wonder! I don't know if Stephen Sawchuk is leaving us hanging for a sequel but it seems that way, and I certainly hope this gets made into a full-length film cuz It'd definitely make my horror watch list!

This short film is SO good!!! It is the perfect mix of horror and comedy, with a fresh take on a classic genre. It reminded me of the 90's horror/slasher movies I grew up with, which I loved. From the killer stunts (pun intended), to great ensemble cast and clever writing, this film doesn't disappoint. I definitely laughed out loud several times, and the lead actress is fantastic. She really makes the movie for me. I've seen her in a few other roles in movies & TV shows, and she's always a stand out. The ending really left me wanting more and I could definitely see this developing into a feature film. Hopefully there's more to come from this story. I'd highly recommend watching this movie - it's killer!
Hell Is a Teenage Girl is a nostalgic nod to the 90's slasher classics, infusing fresh energy in to the genre with its blend of horror and comedy. Skylar Radzion delivers a standout performance as Parker, a moody teenage daughter adding depth to her character's defiance against the killer's rules. Supported by a strong ensemble cast (i.e. Refreshing dynamic with her talkative best friend Reilly), the chemistry on screen is palpable.
The ending leaves the viewers craving for more with a tantalizing glimpse in to what could unfold next in the story. Fans of the genre will undoubtedly appreciate this throwback to classic horror while eagerly anticipating what's next in Stephen Sawchuk's line of 90's-like slasher films!

This short film was so good! I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to see more of this character. I was entertained the entire time and the acting was so good. The lead actress is definitely one to watch. The directing was great, loved the pacing of it and the suspense. The ending was cool and left me wanting more. Definitely a throwback to old horror while having a fresh twist. Music choice at the end was great too and the editing choices throughout were great.
I would love to see this as a feature as well and delve into the back story even more. We need more horror films like this with rad female leads.
