System of a Down have played their first two shows of 2025 as part of a South American tour, and the alt-metal band is digging deep into its catalog on the outing thus far.

On Thursday (April 24th), Soad kicked off their “Wake Up! South American Stadium Tour” at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia, with a marathon 34-song set. The band played 11 songs from their multiplatinum album Toxicity, including “Arto” for the first time since 2015. Steal This Album! was well represented, as well, with six songs, including “A.D.D.” for the first time since 2018 and “Streamline” for the first time since 2005.

The next show at Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru, on Sunday (April 27th) offered up more rarities, including Steal This Album’s “36” (first time since 2002) and “Pictures” (first time since 2017), as well as “Mind” (first time in full since 2011) from Soad’s 1998 self-titled debut.

Madonna brought her “Celebration Tour” to a close with the biggest show of her career.

The pop icon held a free concert on Saturday, May 4th, at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, drawing upwards of 1.6 million attendees.

It’s been over a month since Madonna began her Celebration Tour in Europe and fans in North America won’t have to wait much longer.

On December 13, Madonna will be back in her home country to perform at the Barclays Center in New York. She’ll then continue to perform for the United States, making a few stops in Canada in between her U.S. tours before making her way to Mexico in mid-April.

The journey to her world tour has been long as Madonna had to reschedule her whole tour when she was hospitalized in June for a bacterial infection.

Madonna kicked off “The Celebration Tour” with the first of four performances at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night.

A true retrospective performance, the career-spanning setlist touched on all eras of Madonna’s career and featured numerous songs that hadn’t been performed in decades. The show opened with only the second performance ever of “N0thing Really Matters” from Ray of Light. A few songs later, she dusted off “Live to Tell” from True Blue for the first time since 2006.

Songs like “Justify My Love,” “Bad Girl,” and “Rain” were performed for the first time sine 1993, while “Bedtime Story” was dusted off for the first time since 1995. Other noteworthy performances included “Like A Prayer,” in which she was accompanied by topless dancers, an acoustic cover of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive,” and “Like a Virgin,” which was interpolated elements of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.”

Madonna has officially kickstarted her Celebration Tour, and it was well worth the wait!

The 65-year-old Queen of Pop took the stage on Saturday night (October 14) at The O2 Arena in London, England for the first date of her long-awaited tour. The start date is several months later than expected after Madonna was hospitalized earlier this year for a serious bacterial infection.

With a discography that spans 40 years, there were so many songs that fans were hoping to hear from the superstar as she travels the country.

Now that opening night has come and gone, we can reveal that she delivered an evening full of beloved hits and two surprise covers!

Madonna‘s setlist for opening night included 28 songs, some of which had not been performed onstage in decades.

Spears wore a plaid yellow triangle bikini top with tiny black shorts, showing off her toned figure. She accessorized with a beige sun hat and oversized sunglasses while sitting on top of the horse.

In her second post, she shared a classic Spears video of her dancing to Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” captioning it, “After horses I was lit !!!” She wore the same bikini but this time paired it with a western hat and white sunglasses.

She similarly shared another video of her dancing to the same song but with a different routine.

Her husband, Sam Asghari, posted a video of him horseback riding with the song “Tuyo,” which is the TV show Narcos’ theme song. The video features short clips of Asghari on the back of the horse smoking a cigar.

Madonna has scheduled the dates for her Celebration tour, a journey across North America and Europe starting in July. She announced the tour with a video that pays tribute to her 1990 film Truth or Dare. The video features stars such as Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Kate Berlant and Eric André. It ends with Amy Schumer daring Madonna to go on tour and perform all of her hits.

In the announcement, Madonna said, “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”
