Eyes Shut

I bet mine is one of the very few genuine high scores of this movie :)

I loved it, but not the ending. I mean I loved the ending too, but not how it was done.

After the whole dim lighting and vaguery of this movie, the ending should have been very clear and in the viewer's face. And also a bit longer, this seemed rushed.

Relying on images also on the edge of being unrecognizable leaves the viewers dissatisfied.

Advice for the director: get together a small focus group for a screening. And listen to what they have to say.

The acting was surprisingly good from all the actors. I must say better than most box-office hits. Antonia Liskova is a highly talented but mostly unknown actor.

Such a pity. It could have been a great movie, if the director had not have such a huge ego :(

Incredible boring!!! Nothing makes sense. Waiting for something to happen, but it never does...😴

Sometimes you watch something and you're not sure, if you actually watched it ... or understood it. That can be a good thing (if it stays with you) or a bad thing, because it haunts you in a bad way - as in you can't forget what you saw or make sense of it.

The quality of this is mixed to say the least, but depending on your expectations of this slow burner you may take something from it. It has some visual treats for sure ... and you may be more connected to the main character than I and others were. Not an easy movie to watch - though you still should do so with your eyes open - no pun intended.

Should i could continue watching or not. This question popped up a couple of times watching this movie. I was however too much intrigued to stop watching it. Beautiful but dark scenery. The movie is characterized as a thriller, but I would label it with psychological drama. Sinister without being insidious. Italian German dialogue was an interesting touch!

Worth your while if you put effort into it.
