Found this show a few years ago and returned to it recently. I really like how they depict aliens unlike most shows and movies where they are sucking brains and are weird goopy things. The setting is beautiful, I can see why those aliens wanted to visit ;) Although I do have to close my eyes and my toes crinkle every time they recharge...it's ok though because the rest of the show makes up for it. My sisters boyfriend doesn't like this show but I do.

Even without the predictability of this essentially being Mako Mermaids or H20: Just Add Water; albeit with aliens instead of mermaids, this show lacks a single talented actor/actress (excluding Java, the dog who plays Piper), and the extended dance sequence of episode 2 was enough to ruin the rest of the series for me.

To be said about this show:

The first is the possible existence of intelligent life other places than here on Earth; with the number of stars and planets in the universe it is arrogant to think that life (intelligent or otherwise) is only possible on our planet.

The second is the number of young, cute and attractive girls often clad in bikinis; although both pictures and films with such themes is availible elsewhere in various kinds og media.
