In Bed

Wow! I have watched the film a week ago and it still stays with me! I couldn't fall a sleep for hours after watching. I wanted to call my kids see that they are all ok. To talk to them. The film totally moved me! It had a big impact! Still trying to analyse why. I think it is so well done. Everything about it! The directing, the camera work (wow)! The acting! (Israel Ogalbo give a memorable performance! Itching all of the actors are just fab!). This film should definitely get a wide distribution! It must! It should be out there so people can be informed of the danger of excessive use of drags. I salute the filmmaker and who ever was part of this film!

Definitely the worst movie I ever seen. No storyline. Acting is veryyy poor. I went out traumatic from the movie and i wish i wouldnt go to see it in the tlv fest. I think they should a put a huge note before the movie that warn the audience (same as appears now in this website). I hope in the further it will be still possible to have new gay movies in Israel mainstream after this movie will destroy the reputation of gay movies.

It should have stay as students movies and never go for the big screen.

The single biggest problem with this film is that these are incredibly dislikable people so caught up in their love of drugs that little else matters to them. The only interesting thing the film has going for it is the tension it creates with the character "Dan" who we the audience wonder might or might not be the shooter from the Gay Pride parade. The plot becomes further muddled over the issue of why Dan cannot "go home." He offers some lame excuse that his friends cannot find out he is gay. All three -- who seem incredibly codependent -- take drugs and more drugs, and by the end, we, the audience, are so fed up with all of them that we really could care less what happens to any of them. I'm not really certain what the director's purpose was here. Whatever it was, it was lost in this muddled mess.

Terrific and powerful film! Evoking strong feeling as you can see in the reviews! You will either love it or you will hate it! But for sure it a film that you won't forget! I couldn't sleep after watching it! The director Nitzan Gilady has done an mesmerising Job! Really out standing! I felt connected to the characters in such a very special way. They will stay with me for a long time! The images, the music (Offer Nissim is a genius) wow!!! I saw the film in San Diego and the audience seemed rapt! The was silence after the screening. It seems like no one can talk. And then during the Q@A you've learned how it made indelible impact on the crowd!

This film reminds me of the film and the book of "Christiane F". It left me speechless. I was very much impressed of the fact that the film/script takes place in one location. I have seen very few films that worked in one place/location. It a very difficult task to keep the tension and the phase working in one location. In this film the filmmakers definitely succeeded. I felt I was with the characters every minute of the film. As if I was going through the same emotional process that they are going through. The acting, directing is utterly superb! I did know who is the DJ who wrote the music but it made me look for his bio and work. Great musician! I highly recommend that film!
