A case where someone allowed 2 large egos to create a show about themselves. Heather comes across as unintelligent and uninteresting with no real ideas. The first house was nothing worthy of a show. The design aspects are typical, I was surprised how simple and uninspired the primary bathroom was. Heathers idea to raise the roof shows a lack of understanding mid century architecture. Not showing the price the house sold for leaves the audience out of the story line and the whole purpose is to invite us into the process. This show failed on so many levels. I was surhow bad it was. I loved flip or flop, this is just flop.
This needs to go away soon.

I loved the old flipping show with his ex-wife. But this one just sucks! They spend more time kissing and Tweeting for publicity than working on the flip. And I don't need to see their 'feel the baby' game every five minutes. I was just highly disappointed.
And the wife. She's supposed to be a realtor but she's totally clueless about how much it costs to renovate houses. How is that possible? I think we've been lied to on this.
And multi-million dollar flips? I want to see homes that I could aspire to own one day. I don't want to see a $2+ Million dollar home that they're fixing up to sell for $3+ Million. Regular people can barely cover the bills and buy groceries these days. I think it was just the wrong time to do a flipping show catering to Millionaires.

Although I usually like Tarek, I find everything about her extremely annoying - her voice, her "glamorous" look, how little she actually brings to the show. Despite his talking about her 'amazing' ability to style the houses, they have actually brought in someone to do that and all she does is agree with him. Why is she even involved with the show? I watched his other shows as I found the actual work on the houses interesting, I couldn't possibly care less about her pregnancy saga. I also find his self-promoting of his business aggravating. I started to count how many times he says "Tarek buys houses". On his "Flipping 101" show, he stresses how the flippers need to be there, overseeing every part of the flip. But on this show, they don't show up for weeks and are then surprised how little is done. I watched the first 2 but won't watch any other.
Who wants to watch a house flipping show that features a 40 year old woman sprawled on a bed calling her husband daddy?
Who wants to watch a house flipping show where the "designer" shows up mid-demo in stiletto high heels clutching a precious pockabook?
Who wants to watch a house flipping show where the "blonde" shows up with her her equally "blonde" friends who mince around and preen for the cameras?
She's not even a designer but she takes credit for the finished design. She's supposed to be a realtor but when they go over the figures she's amazed that there are such things as a realtor commission and closing costs.

I have been a fan of Flip or Flop for a long time. I had a lot of trouble listening to Heather talk. Hearing her say "babe" so much was annoying and their focus seems to be showing off a fake over the top relationship with each other that is very unrealistic and phony. I'm truly hoping that they take it down a notch and stick to being real and more believable. It's what I enjoyed most about Flip or Flop. Not this over the top giddy, snooty, and showy talk the entire show. I'll give it another try, but if episode 2 is like this, I won't be watching again. Hope they take it down a bit for viewers to enjoy.
