An impressive movie that is still enjoyable today. The cast is amazing, and personally i loved the songs of this movie. I mean the songs were "feel good songs" of Bangladesh and you definitely will catch on with the tune. Every actors and actresses played their part properly with no issues whatsoever. Cinematography is on paar with most other legendary bangla films at that time.

The story is about a group of friends on their vacation to saint martin island(daruchini dwip). The most twisted part was that i thought there would be parts of the time in the island but there was none,while it's entirely based upon on struggles they had to face in the society to prepare themselves for their wonderful journey to daruchini dwip. The upper class and lower class of Bangladeshi families are portrayed with sheer accuracy which kept the movie real.

Watch this movie. You can keep dreaming!

This movie is main plot that travel journey by friends. Hero was very poor man, he can't go to the journey. I'm excited when I Watched this movie.

There are many films which are based on the works of famous writer Humayun Ahmed, some of them are directed by the writer himself. But this one stands out because of its simple yet heart-touching story. And the performances are brilliant, especially Riaz, Abdullah Al Mamun and Fazlur Rahman Babu's acting. Scenes featuring Riaz and his dominating father Mamun's conversations are most memorable. The songs are superb! Music director Tutul made Door Deepobashinee song more enjoyable. His composition for this Nazrul song is terrific. Director Tauqir brought out performance of a lifetime from the entire cast. Hats off to him. This is one of my most favourite films. One of the bests Bangladesh has ever produced. Give the film a try, you will love it.

The best Bengali movie I've ever seen. A must watch movie for those who love "Humayun Ahmed". I enjoyed every scene of the movie. The story is about a group of young people visiting St. Martin. But the author has very nicely highlighted the different types of crises in the lives of different classes of people in Bangladesh. There are stories of rich sons and daughters of rich people, there are stories of middle class families, there are also stories of helpless girls sheltered in other people's houses. And Toukir Ahmed has done his best.

It's a beautiful film adaptation of the novel with the same name. Wish if they could give more depth to shubhro's character. I wish Humayun ahmed's characters- himu, shubhro and misir ali's stories could be turned into a series directed by humayun ahmed himself while he was still alive, it would have been amazing.
